Agreed that this would make it better. The league simply don’t it want it to look like their referees are being undermined. However, some of them are already looking stupid and at the end of the day, if a colleague has a replay benefit, just let them use it. Not for niggly fouls etc, but red cards, pens, handball etc. The problem with handball (and forever will be) is individual interpretation.

Just change the rule about clear and obvious errors. Give the VAR ref just as much power as the on field. A lot of decisions that haven’t been overturned would have if the rules around it weren’t so fucking idiotic.

It says everything about this country right now that in the possible final month of this process, the Conservatives are having their party conference and telling everyone how they want to sort out Brexit without actually sorting out Brexit, while Jo Swinson will apparently refuse to back Corbyn as a temporary prime minister to stop no deal in the event that a no confidence movement against Boris is passed, even though the rest of the opposition parties are allegedly willing. Meanwhile the media are more interested in this thigh touching incident that may or may not have happened 20 years ago because it makes for a better soap opera than asking the government and parliament what the shit is supposed to be happening in less than 30 days. To be fair to Boris, it looks like they'll at least try to make a new proposal to Brussels before the end of the month, but the opposition parties and Irish leaders are not at all in support of his rumoured ideas. Maybe the Tories know this and are just doing it for show though, couldn't say. Boris simply has to ask for an extension, it was legally passed by the House of Commons. It's ridiculous that this will go on even longer but this is the result of the referendum failing to define what Brexit actually is all along.

My advice would be that you have to cover your ass in these situations and I may be thinking quite presumptuously here but I think quite a few people wouldn't hesitate to claim if they could. Maybe see how you feel next couple days before all the insurance companies get involved and your head clears. It might be worth checking up with the doctor too to give you the once over. Sometimes once adrenalin has gone, the pain came come out later so be cautious of that as your gf rightly said. Got to look after yourself in this world.
