I still think Barcelona get two of the three they want in the end. I've seen some of Fati play and like you I am on the fence about he will turn out. I think he'll do just fine at the club as long as they keep the team fresh and bring in players that fit a system for this growth period they are obviously in. What's your take on Koeman? Good appointment? From all the weird news flying around about how ex-players were treated by him not really sure what to make of it but then again all that is irrelevant as long as the results show on the pitch which I think for the most part are showing.2 points

Well, obviously you'd move Bittencourt on the wing and then slide Osako in the middle. If that does smell like European Qualification, I don't know what does.1 point

A group of lakes found under the surface of Mars September 29, 2020 Scientists have long thought that there could be water trapped beneath the surface of Mars. Credit: Steve Lee, Univ. Colorado/Jim Bell, Cornell Univ./Mike Wolff, SSI/NASA The possibility of life on Mars is a subject of huge interest. When searching for life beyond Earth, scientists commonly follow the water. In 2018, scientists reported a subglacial lake on Mars, under the ice at Mars’s south pole. It was presumed to be a body of saltwater some 20 km (12 mi) across. Now, additional observations confirmed the presence of that lake — and found three more. The lakes are spread over about 75,000 square kilometres. The largest, central lake measures 30 kilometres across and is surrounded by three smaller lakes, each a few kilometres wide. Scientists used a radar instrument on Mars Express called the Mars Advanced Radar for Subsurface and Ionosphere Sounding (MARSIS) to probe the planet’s southern polar region. MARSIS sends out radio waves that bounce off layers of material in the planet’s surface and subsurface. The way the signal is reflected indicates the kind of material present at a particular location — rock, ice, or water. A similar method is used to identify subsurface glacial lakes on Earth. The team detected some high reflectivity areas indicating bodies of liquid water trapped under more than one kilometre of Martian ice. Although Mars’ surface was periodically wet and could have been hospitable to microbial life billions of years ago, if such reservoirs exist, they could be potential habitats for Martian life. But the amount of salt present could pose problems. It’s thought that any underground lakes on Mars must have a reasonably high salt content for the water to remain liquid. Although this far beneath the surface, there may be a small amount of heat from the interior of Mars, this alone would not be enough to melt the ice into water. John Priscu, an environmental scientist at Montana State University, said, “Lakes with salt content about five times that of seawater can support life, but as you approach 20 times that of seawater life is no longer present. There’s not much active life in these briny pools in Antarctica. They’re just pickled. And that might be the case [on Mars].” Elena Pettinelli of Italy’s Roma Tre University said, “Here we have not just an occasional body of water, but a system. The system was probably existing a long time ago, when the planet was very different, and this is maybe the remnant of that.” The discovery reported on 28 September in Nature Astronomy https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Science1 point

These recent clashes in Karabakh might be because of a pipeline Turkey is building to bypass Russia and Iran to access Caspian Sea through Azerbaijan1 point

i think its all supposed to come together somehow but after the first three episodes you're left wondering where they are going with this show. Its like they want every character to have their own little arcs and then blend those arcs into the bigger picture. The last episode was so off-beat and weird it really just sits outside the whole mix. I spent the whole time watching it going, how in the world did all that math become magically possible for the character haha.1 point

WBA Away Ouch! Nothing we didn’t know before came from the first half. A Left wing back isn’t a left back. James defending isn’t his strongest suit needs to get much more closer. Christensen seems to be the managers preference for right sided CH. The blokes standing between the posts are not helping. We are well below & have been for a couple seasons anything close to an average defence. What we didn’t know was the managers idea to help us to become better unit would have a StevieG moment. StevieG's moment ~ Funny. I believe, over the past two seasons we would have lost this game, so from the darkness of holding our heads in our hands at 3-0 down for me there are some proper positives. For me, as I said before the game, Giroud should have started. I truly believe he is the glue to bring everyone together at the top end of the pitch. Franks selections are proving a weak point where Giroud is concerned. Took almost ¾ of last season & a injury to Tammy before Giroud saved the mangers ass. Baffles me Frank does not see this. What Frank got right was the benching of Jorginho and starting Kante & Kovacic together. Obviously standing 3-0 down by half time lead to changes & again he was right to hook Kovacic off. We needed goals & Kovacic like Jorginho offer very little other than passing the ball over 2 3 or 4 yards and in the latter's case not always to the same coloured shirt. One can only hope the Italian international is carted off out of the club soon. My offer to drive him too the airport still stands, but with that mug Sarri out of work, his fans are halved. His prick tease agent strangely quite. He has gone from every club wants his client to struggling to get anyone interested, outside of smelling a knock down price, which be told, is what his real fucking value is. CHO had probably his best 45 mins in a Chelsea shirt. Mount worked very hard but should be removed from taking free kicks. Tammy tries his best, but you have to be football blind not to see the difference between his leading the line compared to Giroud. Havertz has plenty of nice touches and will get better the longer he is with us. The player who disappeared against the packed defence was Timo. Removes his pace, but again I feel sure he will get his moments. Overall we are well under cooked. One game pre-season with so many new arrivals, its no wonder the team isn’t firing yet. We will do, hell of a lotta ball game left. ------------------------------------- Plenty of weird results so far this weekend. Jose fucked over in what can only be described as total embarrassment for the EPL. City suffering the same injury crisis we had 06/07. West Ham tonking Wolves Brighton doing everything to outplay outclass United only to loose.1 point
