I'm sure there's no obligation to do it so you shouldn't feel bad if you decline. The current employment agreement is probably the least of your worries in terms of making your decision. Probably just some declaration of interest thing to fill out. Agree with @Rab. It's something you'd need to be fully sure of doing (and you don't sound like you are!) but while you're contemplating that anyway, always good to take care of yourself and protect yourself. And if that means avoiding investments that don't sound too worthwhile, so be it!

Wow, didn't know it's in the works... One of my all-time favourite books as well, so I'm looking forward to it, even if it says that it will be a "loose adaptation" of the novel. Great choice of August Diehl as Woland, too. There have been numerous adaptations in the past, I think the Russian mini-series from 2005 is by far the best one so far.

I've never really been into MMOs, but it'll be interesting to see how an Amazon game does. It's weird seeing companies like Amazon and Netflix try to branch out into gaming... but if it leads to better games (although, I've got serious doubts about Netflix making lots of good games) that's a good thing for gaming generally. Is it being harsh if I say the animations in the video's of New World look really really shit though? I know it's not a finished game and they'll likely change things... but those animations, to me at least, aren't a promising indicator of how much polish there is on this game.

You never know what number Raw or Smackdown is gonna do these days though, its up and down. WWE’s viewers are completely fed up with the product and are much more likely to switch allegiance than they were like 10 years ago. I don’t think the loyalty is there anymore and they’ve already driven away so many viewers in the last couple of years. The idea of AEW taking away like a half a million viewers from WWE doesn’t seem to be that much of an ask anymore. Maybe im underestimating WWE though.
