The only way this is logical is if we have agree a loan with option to buy with somebody. The extension would leave us with good value if they end up wanting it permanent. If not, it’s stupid because his stock is only going to drop from here.2 points

Hard to tell, Pavlenka is a better shot stopper and better in 1 on 1 situations, but Zetterer is a much better ball-playing goalkeeper with better technical skills. Either way, it's good to have options and a healthy competition... I'd stick with Zetterer for now.1 point

I don't actually pay much attention these days but I finished my race on the F1 game and saw your post and went shit, Murray vs Tsitsipas in the first round and Murray's winning? And turned it on just in time to watch him lose the 4th and 5th.1 point

Zetterer will actually start ahead of Pavlenko if the latter is healthy? I wish we had that much depth.1 point

Done deal! Think it's been quite a good transfer phase; with Ducksch, Assalé and now Weiser we got three very solid, experienced players with enough individual quality, plus Rapp and Jung who are both reliable players as well. Mai transfer seems a bit unneccessary now that neither Friedl, nor Veljkovic or Toprak are leaving, but it's good to have decent backup in case anyone gets injured or suspended. I hoped for a proper DM as well, but once we missed out on Aursnes, it appears there was no suitable and affordable options. Trust Groß to get the job done in the 2. Liga though, and also happy if this means Gruev will get some playing time in order to develop further.1 point

Robertson was goosed, that's why Tsimikas came on. I'd have probably made that sub earlier because it was clear Robertson was having a poor game. It's unfortunate that Firmino was injured in the first half because that's taken away one of your second half subs. I don't understand why we don't change the front three up when things aren't going our way. We could have moved Jota left, Mane right and Salah through the middle. Mane was having no joy down the left and the right hand side saw Trent, Elliott and Salah all wanting to come inside against a team that was just defending their 18 yard box. In hindsight, Chamberlain on for Henderson might have been the better sub. Thiago didn't do a lot wrong but Chamberlain is more direct.1 point

I read this earlier today and I have no idea what the entire thought process behind it is. Japan has a bigger issue than China when it comes to this particular behavior and they haven't done anything about.1 point

I think expecting a hiatus of 10-15 years of no American intervention anywhere in the world is an absolute pipe dream. America has existed as a country for something like 240 years and been involved in some sort of military operation for 223 of those years. 10-15 years would be one of the longest period of "peace" for the US in it's history. So I don't think that'll be happening.1 point

True Blue is doing well, spoke to him recently. I do miss Nick though, and haven't heard from him in a while.1 point

Cheers. No we adopted Sasha in December after Jax passed away. She was only at the rescue a few days until they offered her to us. Same place we got Jax from. Her owner was an elder lady who couldn't look after her any more. Great feeling giving a dog another chance though1 point

I'm sure we'd have a run in the domestic cups if we got Man City's draws every season0 points
