It's not so much a Klopp burnout but a sheer mental burnout from winning almost every game of football for two years. There's no shortage of occasions for any team that puts together a run like that where they really have to dig deep and keep going back to the well to find a late winning goal or equaliser on a difficult day for them. People have posted stats on here plenty of times showing just how rare it is for any team to retain a title. Even Man City haven't done it so many times in the last decade when it feels almost as if Liverpool's title win is the only time City have been stopped (I know it isn't). It's even harder to just carry on as normal when winning a title was as big of a monkey off the back as it was for Liverpool doing it for the first time in 30 years. For that reason, last season was always on the cards for Liverpool although the dip was made a lot bigger by injuries and other circumstances. I don't think too many people would have suggested that the "Klopp way" of playing football would just get to a certain point, fall off a cliff, and then Liverpool would just be permanently below the standards set until he left. The bounce back was always going to come and as we said the other week in the City/Liverpool match thread, the depth and subs bench situation for Liverpool has changed markedly now. Even without Townsend and Rondon.2 points

These are like almost every sci-fi movie that had moving advertising as part of the city... If we can imagine something then we can create it1 point

1900 Brothel Candles - those were popular in European brothels between 1880 and 1905 - used as a timer, once the wax is consumed, the session ends. Those candles look a tad thin.... They look like them little birthday cake candles which would be no good for me obviously as I would need those huge big ones you get in Church1 point

Moonfall What on earth have I just seen?? Wow. Absolute pile of garbage. It's a shame, because visually, some of the scenes are incredible, exaxtly what you want to see in a disaster/end of the world, kinda movie. But in all honesty, this seriously dragged on longer than it needed to be. I kinda thought the plot was a bit too wide and complex to the point it made things way too hard to believe. Not only that but it lacked any kind of charm, it all felt rather bland. About the only character you cared for was John Bradley's who added a touch of humour to things but other than that, I didn't care much for Halle Berry or Patrick Wilson. It will be interesting what the more hardcore sci-fi fans make of it, it could just be me that seriously pans it but I really struggled to see it out. 3/10, which actually makes me feel I was perhaps a little too harsh on Uncharted at 5. That's two or three movies lately I've struggled to get into, think I may need to revisit a classic to establish a balance in proceedings.1 point

Tom Davies is back in training but because he was unregistered in January from the Premier League squad due to his long term injury he's unavailable to help the team in the final few games if fit. To make room for incoming Alli and Van de Beek makes sense but apparently Tosun is among those registered as well so .1 point

Also in that Joyce article: Liverpool are also considering midfield reinforcements this summer. They like Monaco’s Aurélien Tchouaméni, although they are aware the France international is attracting interest from Real Madrid. Whether they press ahead with interest depends on a number of factors, including price, but it would be a midfielder with a similar profile to the powerful Tchouaméni that they would target should he be out of reach.1 point

Tbf after last year the coaching staff worked out different training schedules for players like Matip, Keita, Thiago, and Gomez... and this season, unlike other seasons, we've not seen them as injury prone as they were before. Also worked out a different training regime for our Muslim players during Ramadan, which seems to be paying off as our Muslim players have played pretty well despite probably being starving when they take to the pitch. Smart stuff from them in all honesty.1 point
