  1. Calling Lewa a ‘proper number 9’ is like calling a McClaren a four door family car. The guy is an abnormality. What Bayern are missing is one the greatest players of all time, any sort of mediocrity following him leaving should be expected. Dozens of great centre-forwards wouldn’t do much to replace Lewa; Icardi for instance is a great scorer but isn’t 1/10 of Lewa. There really isn’t anything or anyone that can fix Bayern besides going through the growing pains of not having debatably (Gerd Muller) the greatest scorer in Bundesliga history. Just give it time, the team will adapt.

  2. Any team that loses Lewy is going to miss him but I think the narrative is far over played. Mane isnt a like for like replacement and never was meant to be. The system has changed consequently and we saw the good parts to that; the first four ish matches we had bundles of goals now were seeing the other side of that. If you're void of ideas and creativity Lewy could win matches still and without a proper number 9 thats definitely missing. We'll see, somethings got to give here and I still believe we have the talent to sort it out and if it doesnt probably Nag's is the first head to fall.

  4. Gas leakages by possible saboteurs. Europe made a blunder by putting its energy needs in the hands of Russia and security needs in the hands of U.S. Two competing continental powers.

  5. I was an exercise science student before I traded my test tubes for an abacus, which means I was a chemistry student. Here's what they don't tell you about desalinization. 1. It is MEGA energy intensive. Osmotic pressure is used to separate the hydrogen and oxygen from the shite in sea water. This requires enormous energy. In the middle of an energy crisis this is a shit and expensive idea. 2. The waste product desalinization creates (what is left behind after you take out the water) is right up there with nuclear waste in terms of toxic fucked up shit that can only be disposed of long term by shooting it into space. Desalinization on a large scale is a thing that might be useful decades from now when renewable and nuclear energy are in full swing and we're already disposing of nuclear waste by firing it at the next galaxy over, but until then, no Bueno.

  9. If England beat some traditional big team (Argentina, France) on their way to QFs or semis than it would be a successful campaign.

  13. Finland was never a part of the Soviet Union. In their sphere of influence - yes, definitely. But they never lost their independence to the Soviets, and were never incorporated into the Soviet Union. Unless you meant the Russian Empire prior to WWI.

  14. Agree on Red Dead Redemption. Was very good overall, even though the online was a bit crap. As for Assassin's Creed, what I played was ok but when I played them back to back, I basically got burnt out and wasn't really enjoying them in the end. My general opinion: 1st - Can see what they were doing but very repetitive. Altair was boring as well. 2nd - Personal favourite of those I played. More side missions with more variation and Ezio was a good lead. Liked the story as well, though thought the final boss was ass. Brotherhood - Also very good. Really liked ways to build your own Creed, sending them out on missions etc. Plus playing about in Rome was always fun. Revelations - Meh. Couldn't get into this one. Hated the tower defence game (though ironically made you play the game more as an actual assassin ) and wasn't arsed with the bomb crafting. Also by this point that it started to feel too samey. 3 - Ambitious but didn't really like it, namely because Connor just came across as a whiney asshole, which put me off. That's where I finished as I didn't play much of Black Flag and Unity was a buggy mess when released. By the time Syndicate came out, I was already a bit behind and had no real interest in getting up to speed.
