I have always said that the majority of Americans still think they live in the Old Wild West with Billy The Kid, Johnny Ringo, Wyatt Earp, Pat Garrett, etc still running around, I know when I carried a loaded weapon around (SLR) in Northern Ireland on a tour of duty, inside, I was shitting myself knowing I had something in my hand that could kill a human being just by pointing and pulling the trigger. We had to be a 100% focused at all times even if we (patrol) were dog tired after doing a 6-8 hour foot or mobile patrol, you would get some old guy with a walking stick and then he would point it at you as if shooting or some kiddies playing Cowboys & Indians and run towards you with a toy gun, you had a split second of judgment "were they real guns or were they not?" knee-shaking times they were, especially on a cold and dark evening.

Enjoyed the finale as well. The middle of the season was a bit weird with all the time jumps and cast changes but worth it in the end for the development of those characters and their relationships.

Strikes and demonstrations in the Tehran bazaar - first time that's happened with these protests Shah Cheragh, a mosque/tourist attraction in Shiraz, was the site of a deadly shooting where at least 20 died and over 20 are critically injured. The government is claiming it was Wahhabi terrorists, protestors are claiming it was 3 basiji gunmen. The government is using this as an excuse to encourage people to stop having mass gatherings - which seems a little suspicious (along with the whole timing of everything) University protests, which have been large already are absolutely massive right now. The government increased the number of security forces at most uni campuses ahead of the 40th day since Ms. Amini was murdered - but the protests at unis have been overwhelmingly large. Some of the shit I've heard and seen from my family has been absolutely outrageous. Shocking scenes. I hope the IRI is overthrown and that hell is real so Khamenei can join the Shah and Khomeini there.
