Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted February 8, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 8, 2020 Barcelona could allow former Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, the 27-year-old Brazilian, to leave for as little as 80m euros (£67m). (Mundo Deportivo - in Spanish)
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted February 8, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 8, 2020 Still too much imo. Would have to be closer to 50 to consider.
nfb_10 Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 At some point you've just got to cut your losses and move on. I agree with @Viva la FCB, I'd even be happy to get 45 million euros for him. It's a real shame how this has gone, especially since he had actually done pretty well for us in his first few months at the club. From January 2018 to May 2018 it seemed as though he had fit in like a glove.
Rick Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 I’d be raging if we brought him back. Fuck him off and go pay the extra for Havertz.

Cicero Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 With Barkley, Drinkwater, and Bakayoko on such heavy wages, it’ll be hard to negotiate with Barca in terms of addressing his wages
Administrator Stan Posted April 14, 2020 Administrator Posted April 14, 2020 Not sure where he'll fit in if he moves to us. Will probably just sit on the bench.
Honey Honey Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Spanish press reporting Coutinho willing to join Newcastle if Pochettino takes over I reckon Joelinton could double his goal tally if alongside Coutinho.
Harry Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 He'd actually look good in the black and white stripes... If he's learned to shoot less (or actually get better at shooting) since he left us he could be an excellent player to build a phase one rejuvenated Newcastle around.
Harry Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Heard rumours the Saudis have offered 20 million barrels of oil for him
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted May 27, 2020 Author Subscriber Posted May 27, 2020 Newcastle has begun talks to sign Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, 28 after Bayern Munich decided they will not be taking up their option to sign the Brazil international on a permanent deal. (Mundo Deportivo - in Spanish) The £300m Saudi Arabia-funded takeover of Newcastle is in doubt after the World Trade Organisation ruled that the country is behind a pirate TV and streaming service that offers illegal access to sporting events. Cicero Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Barca want 90 million for him or something ridiculous like that.
Carnivore Chris Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 I'm not surprised Bayern don't want him either. He doesn't know when to pass or when to shoot and doesn't look all that great when playing around top class players.
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted July 28, 2020 Author Subscriber Posted July 28, 2020 Transfer Rumors: Coutinho Could End Up At Emirates Stadium If Wages Slashed Arsenal F.C. is looking at all options to beef up their midfield position. With injuries to key players such as Shkodran Mustafi, Pablo Mari and Calum Chambers, Mike Arteta is on the prowl for available midfielders in the market. One name that is reportedly on their list is Philippe Coutinho. Coutinho is currently on loan with Bayern Munich, the future of the 28-year-old is up in the air. Seeing also how he has not played up to par this season, critics feel that only a handful of teams would take a risk on the Brazilian midfielder. (IBT)
Dr. Gonzo Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 “With injuries to defenders, Arteta wants a midfielder.” Ffs do these journos even proofread their shit before they submit it to editors?
