Why? Birmingham to Manchester is hardly plane-worthy xD

We still want Kane too but we wont go much over 100m for him

If you forked out 100Mill for Grealish I can't see Spurs letting Kane go for the same amount.. I reckon you would need to stump up at least 140Mill+ to get that over the line...

I think we might stretch to 120million at the moment, if we sell a few players like Bernardo, Laporte, Sterling etc we could pay more but Haaland is available for half that in the summer so we might just get someone like  Lewandowski to fill in if Spurs are unreasonable

Liam Gallagher made me laugh today, he said if Grealish is worth 100million then Foden is worth 500million :4_joy:

Private jet Birmingham is two hours down the motorway.

Edit. Read the rest of the thread before comment. 😂

The wankfest over Foden is getting a bit cringe now, he's talented no doubt but he's not the second coming of Messi.

Think the Euros showed he still has some way to go yet.

  • The title was changed to Jack Grealish - Winger Completes Move to Man City

It will be quite fascinating to see what happens next.

He could establish himself at City & force himself to be a starter for England.

It could go quite differently. But I do think he'll surprise any doubters, including Gareth Southgate.

The sad thing is he won't get the same love at club level unless he's absolutely mega at City. Truly mind blowing mega, week-in week-out. Every touch will likely be booed at Villa Park returns.

The problem Jack will have is Sterling and Foden play on that side too. both Sterling and Foden can play other positions but he's got some real competition just to get a game, i think this is why Sane left

Looks like only the daily mail knew any real information about the transfer fee   ..they settled for 75million plus add on's not 100 fucking million upfront

According to Daily Mail, Manchester City could open the bidding for Jack Grealish in the coming days. The Premier League champions would like to make an opening offer of £75 million for the Aston Villa captain

Really intrigued to how his time with City pans out, he's an absolute joy to watch to be fair but will he be as good for the team as a Sterling or a Mahrez who do a lot of selfless running off the ball.

Also how will he link up with Kevin De Bruyne, are they similar types of players, how do you fit them both into the same team?

Most transfer fees are paid in installments, so the first payment being £75m is a lot of cash to pay up front

He's going to be competing with Sterling & Foden, Sterling couldn't get a game last season due to Foden and Sane left due to Sterling being on fire the season before :4_joy:  ..we have have bought a player for one of our strongest positions.  ..Sterling can play on the right but then he's up against Mahrez, Bernardo & Torres, Foden can play central  ..i wonder if Sterling will stick around with all this competition for game time :35_thinking:  Jack must of had assurances before agreeing to sign.

Bernardo is fed up of not playing too and Laporte is also sulking
