Amazing game of football.

Just spotted Thiago, has he even played this tournament?

Yeah made a few sub appearances I think.

Are Italy going to hold out in extra time? Spain have had 70% possession, the Italians must be really tired as a result.

Honesty that's been like the last 7-8 years they've played xD Really expected Italy to involve their midfielders this time

I think 36 year old Chiellini must be feeling tired.

With Jorginho and Chiesa as the only midfield and attacking players left, the endless substitutions really lessen that effect in this competition.

Chiesa seems to have boundless energy anyway!

That's a valid point, the allowance of 5 substitutions per team really has changed the dynamics in the game in many ways.

Italy have been so poor compared to their previous games while Spain have had their best performance of the tournament. Shame for this Italy side if they don't make the final as they've been exciting throughout the tournament whereas Spain have largely been average by their standards. The Spaniards would be good value for victory in this game though.

Italy need Berardi or Belotti to make something out of nothing. Can't see them scoring a great team goal, but either are capable of a moment.

Bernadeschi looks to be coming on soon as well. So a free kick in a dangerous area could be another winning play.

I think Italy have already used their 5 substitutes.

Crikey an extra substitute is allowed in extra time. Italy have made 6 substitutes in this game, that's half their team. xD

Switzerland did the same against Spain.

Italy have played with such high intensity throughout this competition that I think it's really caught up with them sadly. That Belgium game they out so much into whilst Spain had it easy (but made it difficult) v the Swiss.

But one thing I would say, out of the two keepers, I'd rather have Donarumma in the shootout.

Was shocked when I seen it in an earlier game. Pretty sure UEFA didn't have it in their club competitions this season either.
