So far, 5 points to @MUFC and @Whiskey for backing Max Verstappen for pole position.

As for the "most places gained in the sprint" lottery, nobody picked Carlos Sainz who made up 6 positions. After him, Perez and Tsunoda each made up 4 places compared to their qualifying position, meaning that @Whiskey alone takes another 5 points for going with Checo. A great start to the weekend for him, but will his double Mercedes podium shout come in tomorrow? We can only wait and see.

Results - Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

A very low-scoring weekend this time out with only a few points scraped together on Sunday.

@Coma and @MUFC were the only ones to predict a Max Verstappen victory, providing the former his only 5 points of the weekend and leaving the latter as the joint top-scorer this weekend along with @Whiskey, who scored no points on Sunday.

Most participants predicted at least one Ferrari on the podium, leading to the low scores for many, but @Tommy and @Whiskey were the only ones to score no points for their top three, backing Mercedes to find their way to the rostrum instead of the victorious Red Bulls. @RandoEFC, @Stan, @OrangeKhrush and @DeadLinesman all picked up 2 points for putting Verstappen down for the podium but in the wrong place, while @nudge was the only one to back both Red Bulls for the top three, if not in the right places, bagging her 4 points on Sunday.

Nobody got close to predicting a 3rd place for this weekend's random driver, Lando Norris, so the 2 point consolation prize goes to both @Tommy and @DeadLinesman who came closest with a prediction of 6th.

All of that leaves the standings looking like this:

Screen Shot 2022-04-24 at 15.56.45.png

A 4 point score for @DeadLinesman is enough to see him draw level with @Tommy at the top of the standings. They are joined by @MUFC whose fourth consecutive double-figure tally is enough to propel him to joint 1st. @nudge, @Coma and @Whiskey aren't far behind but @OrangeKhrush, @RandoEFC and @Stan lose ground on the rest of the field with their 2 point scores for this Grand Prix.

Next up is Miami!

Thought I'd risk it with my tips this weekend, worked well on Saturday but not for Sunday, Mercedes still being shite shooting me in the foot!

Happy overall though, still in and around top spot.

The new regulations have seriously mixed the predictor league up. After a poor first 2 weekends I've got myself back into the mix.

If there 2 or more are on joint points come the end of the season. What will the criteria be for a winner?

As usual, a fight to the death.

I think all of us chose Mick to triumph over Mag and Lewis over Russell. Early days but not good so fat on that front lol.

Should really have gone for more points instead of qualifying results in hindsight as it's a bit less open to circumstance but we live and learn.
