man United are a mess, they deserved to lose but for more Ronaldo magic.

Arsenal have completely lost the plot.   They are a far cry from Arsenal in the 90's and early 00's which had grit and fight.   this arsenal team looks scared of any team that gets physical.   flat out bullied again.

West Ham have equalised against Burnley. 1-1 there.

Is Cornet trying to ensure some sort of relegation clause in his contract is activated? He's added a missed penalty today that would have put Burnley 2-0 up to his miss against Norwich last weekend...

This is such a myth. Where was he against Everton then?

You'd be no worse off without him, of that I'm sure.

I think we would be worse off without out him,  maybe not position wise, likely 8th instead of 5th, but certainly point wise.  United would be about 12 points behind Spurs instead of 3 and have no chance of Champions League football next year instead of still having an outside shot.

He's scored almost 30% of United's goals, scoring in 9 different games.  United have won every game he scored in and United have scored almost half their goals in those 9 games.  They hardly score more than once when he doesn't score or dosen't play.

it was, hopefully a successful recovery for him.   it wasn't malicious but it was one of those hate to see injuries

Definitely. Seen it since and it's horrendous.

Expect Palace to bite back after the FA Cup exit. Think it is actually rare for players to feel sorry for themselves, most of them have a mentality that gets irritated by loss. Certainly a team in Palace's league position should be like that.

TEAM NEWS

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Kyle Walker will be unavailable for Wednesday’s return to Premier League action at home to Brighton.

However, the City boss says he will make a final decision on the fitness of Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Ruben Dias ahead of the game.

Walker, De Bruyne and Gundogan all picked up knocks in the course of a demanding Champions League quarter-final second leg win against Atletico Madrid last week.

Gray replaces Calvert-Lewin and Mina starts for us ahead of Keane.

Amazed that Leicester haven't started Lookman so that we can see the ultimate Gray-Lookman "fucking hell he was shite for us and we're making him look like Messi here" showdown. Oh well.

Poor start but pretty even now. Richarlison should have equalised. We've left ourselves relying partially on Leicester's own self destructive tendencies now. We can't afford to concede the next goal as that'd probably be curtains for tonight.

I don't like that we take our foot off the gas and lower our tempo just because we're ahead. Everton were doing square root of fuck all in first 15-20 mins barring that Richarlison chance so we should have gone and got the 2nd.

Would be livid if we let this one slip. Our record throwing away points from winning positions is terrible. Because of nights like this where opposition feel there's the chance to come back into it and then eventually do so. Then the momentum is with the home side. Happened at the weekend vs Newcastle.

Just hope we have a quicker start in the 2nd half and get the next goal.
