On second viewing that tackle on Jota that led to the goal should have the goal cancelled. How VAR missed it is a bit weird.

VAR's a fucking joke and it will continue to be for as long as these refs are allowed to be so shite

It's just terrible refereeing. He's looking right at it. Not sure VAR normally get involved for an incident that far back.

Thank god we won't have Twatkinson to deal with next season. Although I'm sure his replacement will be as shit as him, at best, but more likely even more shit.

Hopefully Pep and his players end up getting uncontrollable diarrhea before kickoff this weekend.

Need to get your ultras to get the fireworks out if there's any left after the antics of the blue half of Merseyside the last couple of weeks. xD

Why such a second string line up?

Surely chasing the goal difference down was important given a potential City draw on the last day.

Best Villa can get is a draw.

It was so close after the FA Cup final where we played 90 + extra time and penalties.

Most of the 14-15 players Klopp has used regularly over the last couple of months have been playing two games a week for ages now and they went the distance on Saturday in the cup final. Then it was a quick turnaround to today's game.

Goal difference doesn't come into it unless Liverpool draw and Man City lose on the last day.

But reality is it's a probability you could have erased.

If City lose and you draw, imagine how much you'd be kicking yourself.

Players have to just pull their socks up on this run and get on with it.

Liverpool just had to win their final two games after City's result on Sunday and see what happens.

Your last paragraph xD it's literally what Liverpool have done.

It would have been just as much of a risk going close to full strength and potentially picking up a few injuries. We've already seen players pull up with niggles after the run of games we've been on.

Liverpool did what was needed, I don't see the issue.

If you lose it on goal difference you won't say that.

Even full strength, it’s like a 6 goal difference.
