thats a red at any other ground that hasnt recently complained about VAR

I thought it would be a red, but I think it would have been a very soft red. We see more reds given that wouldn’t have been given pre-VAR. For incidents like this where it happens right in front of the ref and it’s 50-50 whether it’s a red I prefer a ref that lets the game flow rather than long VAR pause.

I’m sure you prefer a ref that doesnt send your players off lol.

Frustrating half all in all. The two goals we conceded were sloppy and goals we shouldnt be conceding with a back 5. Salah shouldnt have that much space and as good as the shot was, Jota was given a free hit on goal. Not enough bodies closing him down.

The game however was very much swung by what should have been a clear red at 1-0, completely changes the dynamic and we build a lot of pressure on them with an extra man.

Overall even though we’ve been sloppy at both ends of the pitch I can’t fault the desire to win, 3-0 down in injury time and we’re still fighting for something.

Liverpool have been good, 2 fairly easy goals that their structure helps create and they have the players to take advantage. Van Dijk was really good and Allison prevented us from scoring about 2 goals in ten minutes.

The bromance between Klopp and Frank seems to have continued post-match even with the red/lack of one.

Fantastic result. I have been travelling so haven’t seen/heard anything other than what’s been put on here, but delighted with that.

Up to second in the table with that 3rd goal going in. Nice viewing, let’s see if Chelsea can cause an upset today.

Not expecting anything from this but then again we have done well against the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs where I also didn't expect anything so might end up surprised...

Soft penalty for me.

Haaland pulls Cucurella’s shirt first but gets a penalty. Just another weekend with VAR in the premier league.

Clear foul on Cucurella. The reason Cucurella is wrong side of Haaland is that he was pulled around by the arm.

Surely a textbook case where VAR could help the ref by giving them some context on the situation?

It's technically a penalty but you see that every week and it goes unpunished. Bit of a clanger for VAR in what is becoming a catalogue of dodgy calls from the PGMOL.
