roversgirl 36 Posted September 11, 2017 On paper Scunthorpe away is one of the tougher away days in this league, but our squad is full of confidence and scoring plenty of goals so all 3 points is a realistic aim. Mulgrew and Conway are injury doubts, but Downing had a very solid debut in defence against Rochdale and we have Chapman who can replace Conway. It's the first league game I will miss this season, I just hope we put in another performance similar to Bradford and Rochdale away rather than our opening day defeat to Southend. Bluebird Hewitt 700 Posted September 11, 2017 Tough one tomorrow. I think all of Preston's games so far have been two goals or less. Think Tomlin will come in for this game and maybe Bryson and Ward as well for some fresh legs.
Steve Bruce Almighty 2,837 Posted September 12, 2017 Simon Grayson is taking Sunderland down.
The Artful Dodger 1,713 Posted September 12, 2017 Can tell Leeds are doing well, they're actually getting respectable home crowds now... Look a quality outfit to be fair, think they'll go up.
Bluebird Hewitt 700 Posted September 12, 2017 Well fuck knows what happened there. We appeared to get battered both literally and figuratively today. I'd like to see I think Preston's third goal as it was apparently scored from the half way line.
roversgirl 36 Posted September 12, 2017 (edited) Big win for us 1-0 at Scunthorpe who were unbeaten prior to tonight's game. It sounded a scrappy game but we got stuck in and nicked it with a classy finish from Antonsson. 4 wins in a row for the first time in 10 years when Mark Hughes was in charge! Things are looking good...

If he does well he's entered a new category in terms of job employment. If he fails then somebody of Prestons quality will take him on again.
Lucas 2,237 Posted September 12, 2017 5 wins on the spin, 6 consecutive clean sheets, packed out Elland Road again and top of the league. And we look a really quality outfit. I definitely believe in Aliens now. What is going on?!
RandoEFC 4,681 Posted September 12, 2017 A somewhat surprising but very valuable win. Crewe 0-1 Cambridge.
Rafa Beneathus 285 Posted September 12, 2017 Sunderland are a fucking shambles and I fucking love it! Another piss poor show from Villa as well, can see Bruce given his marching orders soon.

Dan 1,365 Posted September 13, 2017 This Leeds side looks superb. Shades of Marco Silva about this bloke they've got in charge. I'm intrigued by what I'm seeing unfold there.
Danny 1,165 Posted September 14, 2017 (edited) Disappointing to lose to Wednesday but not much to get down about, away at Hillsborough on a Tuesday night, they're always going to be up for it and should be winning with the team they have. Our luck currently is this, final strike of the game Maupay hits the post, it could go post and I'm but instead goes off. But again we played well, dominated large portions and were the better side. For all the doom and gloom about our slow start, there's only 9 points between us and the play-offs and there's still 39 games to be played. The performances are there, deja vu for every manager to say we were as good or the better side after a game, only a matter of time before we start scoring because we should have been well clear of Villa and Wednesday by half time. Rafa Beneathus 285 Posted September 14, 2017 Just seen a great stat. Newcastle United have won th same amount of points in Wales in 2017 as Sunderland have in Sunderland. Embarrassing. 1
