Bluewolf Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Morata could have had 2 or at least 1 and set up another but nothing... Thumping shot off the bar...

Administrator Stan Posted August 20, 2017 Author Administrator Posted August 20, 2017 Batshuayi own goal even worse that he's a sub to come on to see out the game haha
Honey Honey Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 What a finish 2-0 chelsea. Oh. Er. Wrong end. 1-1
Bluewolf Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Well done team... didnt need to give away the free kick in the first place and then knocking it in our own net... Twats..
Administrator Stan Posted August 20, 2017 Author Administrator Posted August 20, 2017 Alonso scores again! Chelsea back ahead!
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 20, 2017 Subscriber Posted August 20, 2017 Fucking hell Lloris. Kante absolutely brilliant there.
Honey Honey Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Dived out the way. And people say the quality in our game was low

Bluewolf Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 To be fair, although I was well pissed off with us dropping a bollock and scoring an own goal I think the game deserved to be a draw given the effort put in by both sides and Spurs don't belong on the losing side today.. Been a great game.. Full Time and Chelsea win 2-1 Apparently Terry is on his way down to go up those steps before anyone else even though he was not involved in the actual match

HK85 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 That's a brilliant result for Spurs. Bring in Vorm for Hugo.

I´ll check this out. haha Tottenham has a very good team and is very well trained, but they lack something, it´s non-quantifiable, I know, but they seem to lack a bit of experience and a tough leadership on the pitch to win big matches and championships. Based solely on talent, I think there is argument to made that they could´ve won the last 2 Premier League titles.

They lack a cuntish sort of talented player, someone who will go the extra mile, get into people's faces, have that win at all cost mentality: someone like Suarez, Keane, Cristiano, etc. In their own ways those kind of players make a difference or raise the game of others around them.

It´s what we call here "jogador cascudo" (crusty player, in a very literal translation). You need that kind of character to win titles. There are some players who love big matches, it´s in their blood, like Dani Alves, dude is totally crazy, but he loves the big stage. It´s not something you can measure, it´s a personality thing. Perhaps Spurs need that guy. The kind of player that have that competitive fire and will do anything to win. This is why I think winning the Europa League was huge for Manchester United and Mourinho last season, and would´ve been huge for Liverpool the year before. Once you introduce players to the taste of winning trophies I think something in the dressing room changes, instilling that winning mentality to go with the talent is important.
Pep Talk Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Thought spurs were the better team and deserved at least a point but they didn't finish the chances they had or did enough with the stupid amount of the ball they had. Chelsea deserve credit and showed that championship spirit
carefreeluke Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Absolute man mountain today. David Luiz won 5 tackles in the second half today; more than Wanyama, Dembele, Sissoko, Alli and Dier combined (4)
6666 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Tottenham seriously are a dirty team but get away with a lot and the media keep quiet.

carefreeluke Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Would like to see us keep that midfield three for the big games, thought it worked well and stops us getting overrun at times against tougher opposition. Could you of imagined Cesc playing in that game by the way in a two? Blessing in disguise him not being available today. Luiz, Alonso, Kante were all magnificent. I thought Baka did well for his debut as well, a player I'm massively excited about, played slightly like he was worried about injury, fingers crossed he can stay injury free this season. Willian lost the ball a total of eleven times and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have made that pass Pedro did for the Alonso winner if he was on the pitch. Needs to improve. Christensen was fantastic, should keep his place but we all know Cahill will be straight back in. Spurs are a great team, very well coached.
