Though the media attention on Ritchie is solely because of what happened earlier in a game between poster boy clubs. The pundits wouldn't notice otherwise. They didn't notice a kicking in the bollocks and a few weeks back they didn't notice Kachunga drawing blood when kicking Mbemba in the head 6ft high in one of the live games. But above everything else the most laughable thing in punditry this weekend is the line "I was worried about Newcastle after watching the Huddersfield game but they were good today" lol wtf? There is next to no real difference in match stats, performance and approach in the Huddersfield game and the one yesterday. One was a 1-0 loss, the other a 1-0 win. They delude themselves by the hype they create. They were desperate for us to have a crisis and Rafa to walk. They were desperate for Huddersfield to be amazing. So when they narrowly beat us they drummed up those two narratives they had before the game. Yesterday all the pre-match build up was about how this Sanches fella is world class and Bony an amazing signing. Sanches preferred to pass the ball to our players and Bony was invisible. They over egged Swansea and where Swansea are going in their mind so when we narrowly beat them we get hyped up. We must be good to have stopped the mighty Swansea City lol. The media and pundits in general really struggle at the start of the season. They throw loads of guesses out there with a conviction that suggests these are things that absolutely will happen. They are the kind of people who play their fantasy football transfer wildcard 2 games into the season. Hell a lot of truth in this. Agree massively with just about all of it actually. Forum Grandad for a reason.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted September 12, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted September 12, 2017 Hopefully now Huddersfield are beaten we don't have a jot of fear next weekend and really take the game to them. If we do, I think we should win comfortably.
Berserker
Just wanted to say that Mane's was as much of a foul as Neuer's on Higuain 3 years back, ref did good here and both should have been given a red, only difference being that we should also have been awarded a penalty. Inverted
The biggest kick in the balls is that the only good potentially good game was ruined by the red.

Cicero
Think Hazard will come off the bench for our game against Arsenal. Cesc as well if we need more spark from midfield. Morata Willian--------------Pedro Alonso----------Bakayoko------Kante---------Moses Rudiger----Luiz---Azpilicueta Courtois

Subscriber Dan+ Posted September 15, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted September 15, 2017 For me we should be winning. Huddersfield have done exceptionally well under Wagner and no-one could've tipped them to be here right now, but I still think right at this moment in time we are a better side and it will show on Saturday. We have had a very tough start in terms of fixtures and players unavailable, this will be a good test to see where we're at. Fuchs & James apparently both out. That midfield is completely jinxed. Fuchs is a miss but I think Chilwell probably deserves some more game time and I'm happy for him to get it here.
