Big congratulations tonight to Huddersfield who took 80 minutes to discover you don't get an electric shock if you go into the opponents half

Huddersfield are out of their depth and will come 20th. They've been awful since the turn of the year. Beaten comfortably in every game and almost totally lost belief in themselves to be able to attack. They were hopeless when they came here. They just gave up once we went ahead.

Rather timid from them and the stats really say it all. They turned ball over and then just sat and defended. The only chance they also got was from a defensive error from Joe Gomez and while the result doesn't cover the fact that we're still a ways from being defensively sound I don't think we're going to struggle against Spurs.

Biggest disappointment of the night was Mane but as was pointed out earlier he was getting service its just his touch that let him down and I fully expect him to get back in gear soon.

Not just Cechs fault, why is the defender passing the ball to him when he's being closed down by two defenders? Massive risk of them blocking the clearance even if Cech does hit it clear. Just put it out for a corner.

no-one ever just knocks it out for a corner xD

When you have a keeper like Cech, you trust that he can get it away from danger by hoofing it out because of the 2 defenders. A corner gives more danger. Cech could have at least hit it out for a throw. Looks like the pitch had a massive part to play though but you should still expect better from a keeper like him.

The defender had an attacker on him and the keeper had two forwards right in front of him, people are rarely in that position in most games and the keeper will have a lot more room around him when kicking it.

If the pass is a dangerous pass, which that one was due to how close the forwards were to Cech, you put it out of touch. Straightforward defending.

Monumental fuck up by Cech, poor defending also. Sums Arsenal up quite nicely.

Think Karius deserves a mention as well.

He actually saved something and didn’t kick a goal kick for a corner 👍

I love our incredibly low bar for what constitutes good goalkeeping after our prolonged exposure to Mignolet & Karius.

I do think Karius should be given the rest of the season to give him a fair crack at seeing if he can cut it, he's still young after all. And Mignolet has been given shitloads of chances, whereas Klopp's kept Karius on a pretty short leash and been more inclined to rotate him out after a mistake than Migs. But regardless of whatever happens, I do want to see Migs sold and a new keeper brought in.
