Laughing or coughing are complete agony. That's so weird, I ended up in A.E last Thursday because I thought I might be early staged heart attack due to a pulled muscle. Spread from my chest to my shoulder and my wife made me go. Turned out it was fine but she made me go. 1 Quote

Devil Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Just basically doing 5k every other day. It's been a while since I did a 10k but I could do it comfortably if I felt the need to. Also been doing my usual hiking up the local mountains in the Peaks. Going to do Snowdonia again in the next few months. Given I'm in my 43 year on the planet I think I'm pretty active. 1 Quote

Toinho Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Made my return to football this year after near 3 years out with an injury. Played 4 games only this season, as injuries again took its toll, and to commit each week was hard too. Got into running, but again struck down with a bad virus and a miscellaneous injury. Prior to this, been doing mostly 4 or 5km runs, in terms of 4KM took 2 minutes off my Personal best within a month, and similar with 5k. Once I feel better, getting back into it, as I am finding it very fun for some reason. Got a 4Km run along the river for a charity start of October so hoping to get a few runs in before then. Aiming to go under 19 minutes. 1 1 Quote

OrangeKhrush Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I had stopped gyming a while back and struggled to motivate to go back, I may have found a willing gym partner which does make a difference. having someone to push you and you push them does motivate one more, or at least for me. Quote

The only time I run is to the pub Quote
Toinho Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Managed to hit a new personal record last week at the Running Festival. Signed up for the 4km a while ago - was training well, but illness and mystery injury (still ongoing with no answers despite three ultrasounds) - I wasn't hopeful I'd even be able to run the distance, but managed 18:48 for the 4KM which I will gladly take, ranking equal second in my age group. Granted most were probably doing the half or full marathon but onwards and upwards from here! (once injury is identified lol) 2 Quote
