But to be a real Debbie Downer, I saw a documentary about those fishers seen around the 00:17 mark. And no wonder, being tourist props is definitely more lucrative than fishing on a pole haha. It's similar to the Intha fishermen in Burma who have a weird technique of using huge cone-shaped nets while standing on the stem of the boat and paddling with one leg.
