Cicero
United should be doing their best to appoint him. But by the sounds of things, he may end up at Arsenal.

The Artful Dodger
He didn't do a bad job there last time, only losing out to two trophies to Mourinho's mega bucks Inter. Only till the end of the season.

Yeah, he was key for them as sporting Director. Having said that, he's not really shown the same sort of success with Roma - granted, they lost a few key players (Salah and Alisson most notably), but they also got a lot of money to reinvest into their squad. Counterpoint here though would be Roma have had a whole lot of financial issues and they've had to sell not just to bring in new signings - but also to pay off debts. ScoRoss
Thank goodness for that. The only thing stranger than sacked Di Francesco was appointing Ranieri. Hopefully whoever takes overs won't have a woeful Sporting Director undercutting him.
