ScoRoss Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Has his best players sold and replaced with mediocre signings, yet he goes and Monchi remains.
Administrator Stan Posted March 7, 2019 Administrator Posted March 7, 2019 Ranieri is going there apparently
Subscriber Dan+ Posted March 7, 2019 Subscriber Posted March 7, 2019 Absolute madness appointment. He's finished at a decent level.

Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted March 8, 2019 Subscriber Posted March 8, 2019 Ranieri has arrived in Rome ahead of what is believed to be a temporary appointment until the summer.

Cicero Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 United should be doing their best to appoint him. But by the sounds of things, he may end up at Arsenal.
Administrator Stan Posted March 8, 2019 Administrator Posted March 8, 2019 Confirmed Ranieri takes over

The Artful Dodger Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 He didn't do a bad job there last time, only losing out to two trophies to Mourinho's mega bucks Inter. Only till the end of the season.

Yeah, he was key for them as sporting Director. Having said that, he's not really shown the same sort of success with Roma - granted, they lost a few key players (Salah and Alisson most notably), but they also got a lot of money to reinvest into their squad. Counterpoint here though would be Roma have had a whole lot of financial issues and they've had to sell not just to bring in new signings - but also to pay off debts.
ScoRoss Posted May 10, 2019 Author Posted May 10, 2019 Thank goodness for that. The only thing stranger than sacked Di Francesco was appointing Ranieri. Hopefully whoever takes overs won't have a woeful Sporting Director undercutting him.
The Artful Dodger Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Treat him a damn sight better than the Leicester fans did.
Administrator Stan Posted June 11, 2019 Administrator Posted June 11, 2019 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48591648 Paulo Fonseca takes over.
