I turned off half way through Yes, unfortunately that is the one. The trailer intrigued me but then 30 minutes in to the actual film and I was still waiting for it to get going. It picks up a little towards the end but not enough for me to consider it good. Quote
Rick Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Greenland - 7/10 This was surprisingly good. Thought it may be another Geostorm pile of shite, but I really liked it. Quote
Cicero Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Shutter Island - 8.5/10 Can't get enough of this film. Leo robbed of an Oscar here. 2 Quote

T2 - 9/10 Air Force One - 8/10 Under Seige - 7/10 Road House - 7/10 All good films but Under Seige best out of the 3, the follow up Under Seige 2 was a little bit of a let down for me. Quote

DeadLinesman Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Falling Down - 9/10 Glorious film highlighting society’s low points in the early 90’s and even today. Anyone could become Micheal Douglas in this film if you got tipped over the edge. 1 Quote

Under Siege wasn’t better than Air Force One for me. Siegal’s wooden acting took away from it. Quote

Under Siege was the bee's knees especially watching Tommy Lee Jones as Strannix the ex-CIA renegade nutter. Quote

Ive been meaning to watch it for a second time, I definitely think I would have a greater appreciation. Dont get me wrong I quite enjoyed it but knowing the big reveal I figure you pick up alot more of the nuances. Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted February 10, 2021 Moderator Posted February 10, 2021 News of the World (2020) That Netflix Western with Tom Hanks and young German actress Helena Zengel. Entertaining, with a nice story and good acting. Nothing spectacular but pretty solid. Helena has been nominated for a Golden Globe. She's an exciting young actress. If you really want to see an amazing perfomance from her, watch System Crasher. She was great in News of the World too, but in System Crasher she was even better. 7/10 Quote

Harry Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 My wife just twisted me into watching Hamilton on Disney plus. It was... legitimately one of the most amazing and best things I've ever seen! I cannot believe how good it is honestly. Floored. Lin Manuel Miranda is a unique talent. Quote
