Administrator Stan Posted April 23, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 23, 2019 Absolutely nothing has happened between Spurs & Brighton so far. Very dull. Very quiet.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted April 23, 2019 Subscriber Posted April 23, 2019 Yep. Shite game. Spurs will get a couple second half.
Administrator Stan Posted April 23, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 23, 2019 Probably best bit of play there of the half. Alli controls a ball nicely over the top but his shot is cleared off the line by Duffy.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Half Time - 0-0 Spurs shithousing it again.
Administrator Stan Posted April 23, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 23, 2019 Alderweireld slips as he shoots from the edge of the box, hits the post and pretty much rolls across the line.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Janssen on for Moura. Well that's easily a point for Brighton now.
Administrator Stan Posted April 23, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 23, 2019 Eventually a goal for Spurs! Anti-football loses out here as Eriksen drills one in from long-range.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted April 23, 2019 Subscriber Posted April 23, 2019 That's a sensational hit. Too bad it wasn't Sigurdsson against De Gea so that everyone could put it down to poor positioning from the goalkeeper. Eriksen's quality in this team is often overlooked due to Kane and Son and Alli grabbing the headlines but Eriksen is the classiest of them all and it's particularly criminal when people deem Alli to be a star player at Spurs when he isn't half the player Eriksen is.
Inverted Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Sickener for Brighton but Eriksen is just such an important player in these situations.
Lucas Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 That's 6 games on the trot in the league Brighton haven't scored now. Boring fucks. Can't keep defending their way to survival. You have to score at some point.
Honey Honey Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Brighton need to beat us now to stay up. A point might be enough.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 24, 2019 Subscriber Posted April 24, 2019 Brighton are the dullest team / club in this league hands down.

True Blue Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I was excited to see 0-0 on my results app, turned the game on and in under 10 seconds they score. I am a lucky charm for the other top four contenders.

You've got more quality about you than Brighton have, and Glenn Murray now looks completely passed it and Jahanbakhsh looks like the worst signing of the season and completely unsuited to the league, and they've got an awful run in. Cardiff definitely have more of a chance to make and take chances than Brighton do.

Biggest concern for us is that Brighton only need a win to stay up and I have a feeling that they could get it against Newcastle. We have to beat Fulham (who've just got a tiny bit of form going) and a point against Palace just to go above them (if Brighton lost both games). It's doable but Saturday is definetly crunch time now.
