  1. 10 years ago (or around then), I used to think Barca were one of the classiest clubs in Europe. Two Presidencies & boards later... and my opinion of them has changed entirely. Seems like they're completely incapable of doing anything behind closed doors.

  2. Valverde should have been fired after Anfield but the way Barcelona's board his dismissal is a disgrace. For all his faults, Valverde shouldn't have been treated like he was. Barcelona openly dealt with Xavi while Valverde was still the coach. That's not how such a club should handle things.

  3. Tbh, I do think it's a bit funny Valverde could survive the embarrassing loss to Roma and the embarrassing loss to us... but he couldn't survive denying the Saudis El Classico that they paid for.

  4. For those of you that are friends with me on FB, you probably have seen (although I rarely post anything), but the wife and I have gotten a new Puppy to go with our 5 year old Black Lab. His name is Bear, and he's a Plott Hound puppy that is roughly 9 weeks old.

  8. Klopp's said they're expected to be "normal participants" in preparation for Man Utd - so it looks that way. What a couple of weeks for Nat Phillips though. From Bundesliga 2 to beating the shite (as one of our more senior players lol - he's even older than Gomez) while the shite put out a strong side against us.

  9. Xavi turned it down, but more so because of the timing. It was wise of him to do so as well in my opinion as it would make more sense for him to come in at the start of a season and have a full summer.. Bringing him in now could end in disaster. The problem is, who is is there right now? Even if he won nothing I would say it was a disgraceful way to treat a man, especially one who is as respectable as Valverde. I do believe getting rid of him is the right decision as I don't believe he's the man to take the club forward from here on n. But there are better ways of going about it. The current board are an embarrassment, although so were the previous one. Rosell is as crooked as they come, while Bartromeu is simply just a clown who shouldn't be anywhere near the position he's in. Valverde is probably the most down to earth manager out there, it's impossible to dislike him and he's literally never involved in any form of controversy, although his style of football just isn't fitting to the side he's managing at unfortunately and the results are no longer going in his favour like they were.

  11. I don't even know anymore. I'm sure I owe you something too? I made so many bets. I bet with my dad that Charles wins the title for 50 €. Luckily he's pretty forgetful.

  12. I'd take him at Leicester. Not on Vardy levels but would be good as back-up.

  13. Yes I have. Played it ages ago and I was tempted to get the new one for the Switch but then there were other titles I was more interested in playing this year.
