Back on the photo content. After almost four months of trying to source this thing at it MSRP I finally found someone who can get me one in October when they come down so I am getting one. Sad to move away from Canon after all the years its been used and basically taken around but I think I am going to like Fuji when I finally get my hands on it. https://fujifilm-x.com/global/products/cameras/x-t3/2 points

What pedigree? Leicester have literally just won the FA Cup and still benefit from their league title, Spurs haven’t had pedigree for decades2 points

It's only 11 minutes anyway... Just watched it, the interesting part was Mercedes internal comms between Toto, tactics (da Silva) and strategy (James Wowles). What was missing to make it really interesting and insightful though was the equivalent comms from Red Bull; there weren't any1 point

That's all you need to know right there.... the owners should have secured the dogs in another room or out in the yard when strangers call round.. The dogs may not even be aggressive but with new people around they tend to get over excited and jump up and stuff and it frightens some people...1 point

This is really cool. Some great insight. I don't have F1 TV so I can't watch the whole thing, but this short clip alone is very cool.1 point

You might be right "Amy Adams' new mystery thriller, The Woman In The Window, may be adapted from a Gone Girl / The Girl On The Train-type thriller novel, but it's not always easy to lose yourself in its twisty-turny plot. Partly, that's because the revelations are so silly that you're more likely to laugh at them than be engrossed. And partly, it's because the acting, editing and camerawork are so hectic that it feels as if you're reading a book in the middle of a rugby scrum." I can understand the staff being pissed off, tbh. Especially in this era where more and more people in the west feel empowered to use whatever platform they have to make whatever "social justice" point they want to make. And I don't think what IGN's staff did... really had anything wrong with it. It wasn't anti-Semetic, it didn't call for rallying around Hamas, it called for providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians who are facing a severe amount of collateral damage in this conflict. So much civilian infrastructure has been destroyed and there's over a million people in Gaza - it will need to all be rebuilt for them to live "normally" again. I don't even think they needed to say something to the effect of "Please add support for Israel too" - but they could have added a statement condemning Hamas (which should be pretty fucking easy for anyone to do, especially a Western media company that focuses on mostly gaming and film news) and the statement would have seemed much more "both sides-y" and balanced.1 point

If the owner of the dog and the owner let the dog loose on your colleagues then the bloody owner of the dog should be charged and fined and be banned from dogs for life, dogs can be trained not to be aggressive and some owners train their dogs to be vicious and aggressive and that reflects on the animal in question and the poor dog could be put down because of some stupid idiotic owner. You see guys around here, junkies, you can spot them a mile away with a bull terrier on a lead attached to a spiked collar walking with an "I am the top man with my dog named Butch/Rambo..." attitude, a lot of owners with bull terriers I know are gentle as fuck dogs who greet anyone with their tales wagging and licking (kissing) you all over, I have seen a couple of Akita dogs and they have been gentle as fuck too.1 point

Territorial thing. An RSL might own the property, but the dog lives there. Many will defend themselves if a stranger even walks upto the door. Like @nudge said, the owner is responsible. A dog can be aggressive and kept in a separate room from visitors.1 point

Its an X-Mount so there are some adapters and lots of lenses now from Rokinon and Zeiss, etc. I think their standard lenses are pretty good too.1 point
-
I think most of the issues like that are really negligible unless you're shooting professionally or in very specific situations... what kind of mount does it have? Is third-party compatible lenses an option? The likes of Samyang, Tokina, etc. Also could probaly get an adapter to use Canon/Nikon lenses, although I'm personally always skeptical about those.1 point

Every dog can be quite agressive to strangers; it's up to the owners to socialise and train them properly AND to get involved in such situations where the dog is being protective of its territory. Akitas are very protective of theirs, and they are also very pissy about strangers invading their personal space, so I can see how things went wrong there with your colleagues...1 point

I went up here today and saw 2 ospreys for the first time. I was very lucky. Apparently they nest up there now! I also didn't realise how big they were. Definitely bigger wingspan than as Buzzard.1 point

I don't agree in the slightest we were 'lucky' or that we won just because 'Chelsea were lacklustre'.1 point

We have the makings of a good team that can challenge. We need a top new manager and maybe three signings.1 point

Then Leicester need to consolidate their position and grow and they can, unlike many teams they seem to have very good owners which means they can attract bigger investors and sponsors. This new season will be the bench mark for them.1 point

They won cos they won, all Spurs have is Harry Kane and a new stadium. There is a legacy in motion at Leicester, Rodgers will not leave that for Spurs as long as things are going alright at Leicester. And things are going perfectly at the moment1 point

Rodgers has a chance to create a legacy at Leicester, cement them as a top club. Why would you want to leave that for Spurs?1 point

Everything about Joker is perfect, one of the few films that I would genuinely give 10/10. It's the only film to date too that I've literally been on the edge of my seat for throughout too, I was unbelievably hooked in the cinema. The only thing that I would have changed is if1 point

Joker - 9/10 Watched it a 2nd time and I now disagree with many who merely think Phoenix made the film. The plot itself is Oscar worthy. President Reagan repealing the Mental Health Systems Act of 1980, which led to most mental hospitals not receiving any funding. Arthur succumbing to his illness, dealing with his inner demons only worsening when society itself drives Arthur mad. I think its a brilliant piece of film and the critics can fuck themselves. The film accurately reflects that mental illness is not well understood and can represent something unpredictable.1 point
