Apparently, two of the supervisory board members (including Bode) wanted him to continue, two wanted him gone (Zech and Krohne), and the remaining two were undecided. The undecisiveness is the main thing that really grinds my gears about the club's management... No surprises there, really. When you think about it, we have no money, and finding a new manager and building a new squad for 2. Liga is surely a priority now... In addition, the new supervisory board is supposed to be voted in September (if the member meeting can finally take place), so there will likely be more drastic changes incoming then (not necessary for the better, though).

It must be quite a shock to Werder fans that the club plummeted down the table in the manner that they did right at the end of the season. Werder definitely had a squad that talent wise were Bundesliga material, but it looked like they didn't have the fight that other sides such as Mainz or Koln had. It will be a real shame if they are unable to keep most of their key players for the Bundesliga promotion push next season. But I have to admit that it does look likely that most of their notable players will leave. My commiserations to all the Werder fans, this is a very disappointing period in Werder Bremen's history.

Really a shame watching Baumann flounder. I remember watching him play and admiring his presence on the pitch. Now his legacy is being tarnished by the failures in management.

I will hit the big 72 on Tuesday so we had a visit from our daughter and grandson Kaiden because they are both away on a school trip for 3 days and will miss my Birthday but...wee Kaiden in all his grandson wisdom bought me a Man United Lego figure but there was NO WAY in a million years I would try and build that with my fat fingers so he built it up for me and told me to put it in my Man United corner in the bedroom, I obeyed his commands.

I watched Sacred Games in Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi and Gujarati

I watch every movie or series in it's original language with subtitles. Doesn't matter if it's English, French, Spanish, Korean or whatever. Everything loses authenticity when dubbed. I want to see the actors acting, and the voice is a big part of that.

Why not Punjabi?

Set up our pram today, from about 8 or 9 minutes in all I could think is that this is something @MUFC would really be into.

That's the daughter and wee Kaiden landed on their school trip to Argour in the Highlands of Scotland, took a ferry to Inverness, the daughter said the weather is not great but they are having a great time. Wee Kaiden and his best friend Sofia are running around there somewhere Ardvulin House where they are staying for the school trip. Wee Sofia Kaiden's best friend, he has known her since nursery.

Surprised Stan didn’t win every league if I’m honest

Apparently his ankle injury he received from Meunier back in 2020 has had some long term complications. He's got tendonitis now so its prone to reoccurring injuries. Add the fact he had to change his running style because of it (and always showing up to preseason overweight) it adds muscular imbalances to other areas of his body which only further risks him of injury. Basically, he's finished.

Gonna watch this tonight because of your review. Don't let me down.

So far, we're being linked with Kevin Behrens. I hope Jojo returns from his loan and stays at the club; think he would be great in the 2. Liga. Defence will have to be rebuilt completely, most likely.
