Funny how Texas voted in banning abortion, but also allow purchase of guns leading to children being killed. But they'll do fuck all about trying eradicate the latter.4 points

I give up with America and some Americans with their fucking gun laws and the 3rd amendment bit about the right to carry a gun, it's pathetic, just watched a load of American politicians on the news pumping their bloody gums about how wrong it was and they should be banned, what a load of bollocks, FUCKING BAN THEM THEN!!!! Loaded guns are evil, I have walked around with a loaded rifle in my army days on tours of duty knowing I had a tool in my hand that could take someone's life and in the back of my mind I was nervous as fuck, I have been shot at but lucky enough never shot back. I thank god for that really because I don't think I could hack it if I had killed someone, I had enough on my mind walking into mortuaries looking at dead bodies that their lives had been taken away by bombs and bullets, god this is a wicked world we live in nowadays.4 points

Steve Kerr... We are in such a bad place the world over with Lies, Corruption, Mis-Information War and Greed and Governments only interested in holding on for their own personal gain I am wondering what it would take for real change...2 points

It’s not required by law to make a statement like this. It has to be reported but club did not have to be so transparent. As @Dr. Gonzosays it’s just good PR and it’s great for the club.1 point

I remember being in a group project during my education degree, and I ended up being the only person to graduate. Says it all. I hope things get better soon @Devil-Dick Willie, I am sure they will. You may surprise yourself and do okay in that unit too...1 point

All done now finally.... The government has approved the £4.25bn takeover of Chelsea by a consortium led by LA Dodgers co-owner Todd Boehly. The London club was put up for sale in March before owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned over his links to Russian president Vladimir Putin. On Tuesday, the Premier League said the consortium had passed its owners' and directors' test. Chelsea have been operating under a special government licence which expires on 31 May. "Late last night the UK government reached a position where we could issue a licence that permits the sale of Chelsea," a government spokesperson said in a statement on Wednesday. Came back from a 5 day trip to Northern Germany today. Stayed in Cuxhaven for 5 days, which is a coastal town and the northernmost point of the state of Lower Saxony. I liked it a lot better than the usual town I stay in when I visit northern Germany. Some impressions. This ship was built in 1904. It has quite a history. It was re-discovered in Sweden in 1979, and brought to Hamburg for repairs. But it was determined that it would be too expensive to restore it, so they gifted it to the town of Cuxhaven. Lotsenviertel in Cuxhaven. Very hipster-ish, but pretty. Ritzebüttel Castle in Cuxhaven. "Swiss House" in the Castle's park. Built in 1847 as a tea house. And then on my way back to Düsseldorf, I visited Bremen for 2-3 hours. Never been there before, so I wanted to take a look. A very old phonebooth now a plant house. Schnoor-Viertel. The oldest part of Bremen. And of course, the Westerstadion. Home of Werder Bremen.1 point

We might finally be about to spend the money it takes. An extra £150 million put into the club from the owners for the summer window1 point

I know I'm well late with this but just started season 1 of Breaking Bad. Just currently at the stage where Walter is starting to enjoy breaking the law. Gotta say I'd been told it was a slow starter but now I'm gripped.1 point

Superb season again. A real benchmark for what can be achieved through excellent management, great player development and smart recruitment. Should be proud as I’m sure you are of the team you have right now. One of the very best the league has ever seen. Only robbed of another title by a dodgy state run club, who admittedly are brilliant, but very different in their composition to how you’ve been put together.1 point
