Administrator Stan Posted March 13, 2020 Administrator Share Posted March 13, 2020 EFL expected to suspend fixtures til end of March today. A Peterborough player is in self-isolation. Peterborough played Portsmouth who played Arsenal and they wonder if it spread through there (according to their chairman Darragh MacAnthony). Premier League expected to be suspended today. Administrator Stan Posted March 13, 2020 Administrator Share Posted March 13, 2020 Everton have gone in to self-isolation as well after a player started showing symptoms of the virus. Precautionary measure by sounds of it.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 13, 2020 Subscriber Share Posted March 13, 2020 Premier League, please don't do an F1. Just have the common sense to cancel everything indefinitely and get it announced now.

I can't see how they don't suspend everything right now given all the news of players/staff showing symptoms and going in to self-isolation. Announcement expected at 10.30am. I can only imagine they were also in a meeting with EFL. And there's probably other people they have to let know first, legally no doubt. Don't worry - I'm sure an announcement will come soon! It would be ridiculous and totally naive to have the EFL cancel fixtures but Premier League not to.
