Villa's record of losing points from winning positions could come about again if they don't put this game to bed. Arsenal have been poor but the way Villa's defence has been all season they may still have hope. Villa holding on means they go out of the relegation zone...

Great for Villa. Don't know why we didn't rest more players to be honest. We had zero to gain.

Would be a shame for Watford if we now beat them in our final game after losing to Aston Villa...

Why the Bournemouth hate?

Not hate really just fed up of them and also bitter about our constant shite performances at their place.

Would just prefer to see Aston Villa become a bit of a force again. Bournemouth have hit their glass ceiling and are on a natural decline.

I said all rona that "You can't relegate villa with a game in hand" Looks like they wanna prove me right. I like a few of Watfords players, and think they have more to offer the premier league next season, but from a behind the scenes standpoint they deserve to go down.

They don't have much money though do they. Compared to the finances you have they have done better with what they have than  you over the years

Yep this.

I think Villa will survive now. Find it hard to sympathise with Watford after their treatment of the lord. Wonder if they'll file a legal case against some of the decisions Villa have had mind - the Sheffield United & Crystal Palace games nothing short of scandalous and likely to be the difference now.

You have been better than us the past few years. A shame that your golden generation have zero to show for it...

We'll send a cleaner around to dust out their trophy cabinet as a good will gesture

This is a) irrelevant and b) not exactly high praise.

This kind of sums up Arsenal, no shots on target again, people getting carried away because of the last 2 games.  The bigger picture is we are a tactical mess,  we hardly create chances when we are the dominating team but when we play with our backs to the wall and counter, we seem to have more chances.   There is no cutting edge in midfield, no creativity, we have no good wingers that get in behind which has been a problem for years since Walcott left.

Yesterday was also a shame that the players that came in did nothing at all to impress to want to start in the final, it shows a huge lack of hunger within this piss poor squad.  Holding was very poor and has been nearly in every game since his come back, Torreira has gone off the boil, Kolasinac is just shit and Nketiah is just not good enough.

We have zero to play for in this game. We're not gonna qualify for Europa League through the league. Just rest players.

It was a chance for the other players to impress to start in the final but they failed miserably.
