Whatever it is I am not interested.....

Least he’s trying to inspire his team instead of merely standing there, arms crossed with a scolding look on his face.....oh wait.

This is absolutely dreadful from Chelsea on so many levels.

Absolutely nothing from midfield. Jorginho for Kovacic was a bizarre substitution. 2-0 down with Kante already one of your midfield three, why throw on someone else who's not going to create anything in the final third? Is Havertz really that bad?

If all they can manage are crosses then put Giroud on. Abraham keeps hiding at the back post and nobody is breaking from midfield to attack the front post.

I think Lampard has done more good than bad at Chelsea so far but there aren't really any excuses this season. I don't know if they're his signings but the big money has gone on Werner and Havertz, he needs to be getting a return out of them.

@RandoEFC They are all his signings.

Well then that's a bit shite because I don't watch Chelsea every week but it looks to me like he doesn't really know what to do with the pair of them.

"So Frank, what went wrong today?"

"Well, I'm not sure really...obviously we didn't play well, but we're a young team, and we'll look to get better and improve the next game"

Bruce's pre match comments are that we have improved under him, that as a club we expect to be bottom half and that because Arsenal are struggling we must be doing really well.

I shan't be bothering to watch today. I'll check the match stats as it progresses and see if it is worth turning on or not.

That Jorginho technique to take penalties is one of the worst things in contemporary football.

Said it before when you are 3-0 up it's not so bad to do that but when you are chasing a goal don't piss ball about just slam the fucker home...

Every result has gone our way so far today. We're up against the winless bottom club and can go 2nd with victory.

Sheffield United 2-0 Everton.

Right. Think I've finally conceded.

From the start, Top 4 was the bare minimum. Anything that jeaporises that priority needs to be addressed. We are now 4 consecutive games of zero cohesion, zero understanding, zero urgency and zero ideas upfront. Predictable. Predictable. Predictable. For this to be a continuous issue after spending nearly 200 million, is down to management and coaching. You look at the two squads tonight and the difference in quality between them, and for us to lose, is truly unacceptable in any form and in all honesty a sackable offence given the circumstances. There's so much more that can be done with this team and I don't think we will ever see it with Frank.

You don't spend this much on attacking talent to either not utilise them properly (Werner), become entirely dependent on them (Ziyech), or to not use them at all (Havertz). Add to the fact we have a very heavy squad filled with talent, so to continuously see this level of poor game management is something Lampard and Lampard alone is accountable for. Last year you could defend him because expectations were low and he didn't have "his players", which there lies the issue I've been patient enough to finally accept. His management thrives when expectations are low. Virtually out of his depth when expectations are high and is asked to build a competing side.

The fact this was an inevitable result before the ball was even kicked, says enough.

Nice one Arsenal.

For those looking to see what Lampard would say...

Nah, 1-0 to Sheffield United with Jagielka coming off the bench to score a world class goal in injury time.
