Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted December 30, 2020 Subscriber Posted December 30, 2020 Oh dear Mo great chance there.
Dr. Gonzo Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I hope the bad finishing doesn’t bite us in the arse again
Administrator Stan Posted December 30, 2020 Author Administrator Posted December 30, 2020 Firmino and Salah should have put this game to bed.

I think you are going to be a bit disappointed if you are expecting us to sign a player of that standard. How are players supposed to develop if they aren't given a chance? Thats all im saying mate... give them a chance! It's all very well saying give them a chance and give them time to develop, but do they have to develop in competitive matches while we lose our grasp on the league, or can it be done on loan or in league cup games like normal? It doesn't take a genius to see that Rhys Williams clearly isn't ready. Nat Phillips is a bit better defensively, but he's slow and uncomfortable on the ball so doesn't suit our high line or possession play. Meanwhile we're posting disappointing results in the league. Six points dropped to teams in the bottom 4 in the last month. Are we trying to win, or do we want to be Arsenal where no one gets their feelings hurt? It's worth noting that we won something like 14 games last season by a single goal, so while we absolutely pissed the league, it wasn't quite the walkover it looks on paper. Losing all 4 of our centre backs and our #6 from last season is obviously going to have a big impact on our title challenge this year. That's without talking about how a good and fast back 3 (DM + 2 CBs) enables our entire system by allowing us to send 7 players forward, and how VVD's passing ability helps us unlock teams. If you're wondering how teams like West Brom and Newcastle are able to keep us in front of them so easily, by the way, start there.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted December 30, 2020 Subscriber Posted December 30, 2020 Newcastle is tiring. If ever we had a chance now is the time.
The Artful Dodger Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Liverpool will do well to finish 4th, they are appalling. Despite what the Manc media say, both of their clubs should be finishing above this shower with their full squads and no injuries.

The Artful Dodger Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 If this were a Manchester side they would fake some positive tests to get a rest.
Lucas Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Feels to me when Liverpool's full backs arent quite in the game, Liverpool's attack isn't so dangerous. Seemed like that at the weekend. And it's all rather predictable at the moment.
Administrator Stan Posted December 30, 2020 Author Administrator Posted December 30, 2020 Jon Champion and Ally McCoist's sandwich chat in the first half was a tad more exciting than this...
Administrator Stan Posted December 30, 2020 Author Administrator Posted December 30, 2020 Not gonna go in for Liverpool is it. Great last-ditch defending again.
The Artful Dodger Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Saw an article saying that Liverpool are at the end of Klopp's cycle now, he has overplayed his players and they won't last the pace. I think the past two results show how vulnerable they are. No way they are favourites for this league.
Rick Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Should we not have a penalty there? Looked like Darlow had hold of Mane’s leg.
ROBBIEFC Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Jesus, that goal-line clearance! Newcastle deserve the points if not all three.
The Artful Dodger Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Just now, Rick said: Should we not have a penalty there? Looked like Darlow had hold of Mane’s leg. You're not a Manchester club so nobody will care.

Rick Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Just now, Stan said: Nope. Definitely had his leg there.

We were about 12th in distance covered last season
Honey Honey Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Get Gayle on for the last 5 mins to run at this random championship level centre half they have
Administrator Stan Posted December 30, 2020 Author Administrator Posted December 30, 2020 Darlow again
The Artful Dodger Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 There is no doubt that the whole media/fa/Premier league will be supporting Manchester United to win this title. Don't be surprised if you see more dubious decisions going against Liverpool.
Dr. Gonzo Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Is Darlow English? Can we get him in for England?
