Kanté confirmed out. :(

Really can't see us getting anything here regardless. May as well start with two strikers if we are going to persist with the endless cycle of ping it wide and cross.

Mendy

James---Zouma--Silva--Chilwell

Gilmour---Mount

Ziyech--------------------------------CHO

Havertz----Tammy

Vardy may not be fully fit, but I think he'll start. Soyuncu may come in for Fofana.

Kasper

 Castagne - Evans - Soyuncu - Justin

Ndidi - Tielemans

Albrighton - Maddison - Barnes

Vardy

It's a shame we don't have a proper pacy right winger to get at Chilwell (Under may play but he doesn't offer the defensive side like Albrighton does). Chilwell or Azpilicueta will probably be their weak links so attacking them there would suit us, especially with Barnes on the left side.

@Cicero is James fit?

Justin and Castagne could play either side as they have done in the past 2 games.

Amazed Giroud doesn't even make Chelsea's bench. We're notoriously bad from defending set-pieces. He'd have been a big threat on them against us. Rudiger scored 2 headers here last season. Wouldn't surprise me if he got on the scoresheet again tonight.

We're unchanged.

Lampard has to go soon surely. Leicester look like they could be 3-0 up by half time here. They should easily finish 3rd or 4th if they cut out the stupid home defeats to Fulham and West Ham. They're right up there with Liverpool and the Manchester sides for looking like they can hurt their opponents every time they go forward. Quite the contrast from Chelsea so far here and over the past few weeks.

Barnes running James ragged down that left side for Leicester.

Don't get all the hype surrounding Havertz either, I mean, what even is he? Doesn't look very pacey, certainly not a striker, vision looks decent but nothing special. Just can't work him out?

Managed to watch a glimpse of the game before heading out. Saw that superb tackle from Justin on CHO. There precisely lies the problem with Lampard and his tactics. Kovacic had the ball from one end, and CHO was in acres of space out wide. Instead of moving the ball quickly by playing it directly to CHO to catch Justin out of position, Kovacic lethargically played the ball to James, and then James played the ball to CHO. And while that was playing out, Justin had enough time to correct his position and hound CHO before he even got the ball.

So easy to defend against.

Very good half from us.

Only weakness was probably Ndidi losing track of Mount a couple of times and leading to good openings for Chelsea.

Albrighton puts in a proper shift every game. Love it.

Pulisic has gone under the radar as well, barely effective at all with anything these days since his return. Just constantly loses the ball. Of course, the recent performances aren’t a true reflection of a lot of these players true level but Pulisic has definitely escaped criticism, considering the amount others have got.
