Surely the Premier League is organised enough that it can be arranging double jabbed status or negative test results for players as easily as some clubs deciding fans need to provide double jabbed or negative test results. Where they've been to in the UK, or outside is irrelevant then, surely? I've not seen or heard of some super variant, so all other noise is just the same old inter-national posturing.

Certainly time for English football to act as an entity on this.

Isn't your backup keeper out, so you'd be starting Scott Carson against Leicester?

Yep, he's got covid, can he not just wear a mask? :ph34r:lol  .. i hope we just play Ederson, Jesus is in good form too

If someone told me "go play football in a mask"... even if it was being keeper for Citeh... I'd probably tell them to go fuck themselves xD

Jesus loves a goal against us as well, would rather he didn't play.

Richarlison was allowed to play for Brazil in the Copa America and Olympics over the summer and returned to his club less than a week before the new season having not had any time off over the summer, which is why the Brazilian FA accept they would be absolutely massive cunts to include him in this.

Sounds like they're still being pretty big cunts though.

Can they really stop the other Brazilians  from playing? crazy if they can, they are here working at the end of the day

I mean blame Fifa for this. These countries are well within their rights to ask for the rules to be enforced. I think it’s 5 days after an international period they can ban players for if they have refused call ups.

We’ve lost Sanchez, Lo Celso and Romero cause they flew to South America

Watch Ole still play Mata over VDB

Got a feeling Lindelof will be trying at CDM before VDB gets a run out myself.

I understand the rule in normal times, but considering the current climate I think it's a bit too strong and I imagine the Premier League clubs feel like they'd be able to appeal any ban and win the appeal all things considered.

If it keeps Fred out of the team, I’m a happy man.

You are probably the only ones that see this situation as a win....

Senior executives of the 20 #PL clubs held a tele-conference on Thursday and agreed that none of them will make any complaints of other sides fielding ‘ineligible’ players or seek action against their rivals.

During Tuchel's press conference today he stated that clubs though unhappy would still not know the outcome of the bans until tomorrow morning... I still think it's all up in the air currently

We intend to play Ederson and Jesus on less the FA step in and the other clubs have agreed they wont make any complaints  ..Pep had it right. He said if they had gone to Brazil they would have had to quarantine and miss the game anyway. Then on their return isolate in a hotel for ten days, missing three games. Utterly ludicrous.

Without getting permission from the FA (who'd need to get permission from FIFA)... I think it sets a dangerous precedent if a top league with lots of money just decides "FIFA rules can't be enforced here" - I do think FIFA should be reasonable, considering there's a fucking pandemic going on, but I also think there's a slippery slope if a league just tells FIFA to fuck off.

Personally I think they should be allowed to play... On the other hand I hope you do it and get docked 6 points for breaking the law... B|

I think this whole thing is a trap engineered by United to dock points from us and Liverpool and get Fred banned from playing, Ole is an evil genius!
