I feel sorry for De Gea, having to play behind a defence that would look out of place at Mansfield Town. Maguire and Shaw ball watching there, that’s utterly woeful for in excess of £100m and apparent Premier League footballers. Damage limitation now for United, keep it below five and that’s a bonus. He does it so many times that it's not like it can be explained as a one-off. The defending from United, you would barely see that from amateurs yet Fernandes, Bailly, Shaw and De Gea are supposedly top class players. Shaw and De Gea simply stopping and just assuming the cross will go out is embarrassing and even moreso on De Gea's part as he can see everything in front of him. Pathetic.
