LFCMike Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Klopp could potentially pick a pretty much full strength first 11 for this one.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted November 27, 2021 Subscriber Posted November 27, 2021 We usually always win this 2-0. Something has to give, the record or the awful defending.

Dave Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Quite annoying all these clubs we've been doing better than have appointed new managers as our fixtures have began to turn. Feel a 1-1 or 2-1 to us. Gallagher, Watkins, Benteke and Zaha as the possible game changers for this one.
Reluctant Striker Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Gerrard's 2nd match & he's made the choice between Ings & Watkins! Ollie Watkins starts, with Bailey & Young on the wings. Slightly surprised both Buendia & El Ghazi are being kept out by Young.. but must be looking good in training. Douglas Luiz fit enough for the bench, but Nakamba continues. Similar for the constantly awol or anonymous Sanson. J Ramsey fast becoming a regular starter. Regardless of the result.. I like the choice of just 1 striker. The managers always start losing me when the team selections stop making sense.
LFCMike Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Bednarek lucky to get away with just a yellow there I think
Dr. Gonzo Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Gonzo: says he doesn’t rate Thiago two weeks ago Thiago: what about after these 2 weeks Gonzo: I rate Thiago
LFCMike Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Nice to get a third before half time and make the most of the dominance.
LFCMike Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Strange half really. We've played ourselves into trouble three or four times and Alisson has got us out the shit. We probably could have had one or two more ourselves though
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 27, 2021 Subscriber Posted November 27, 2021 Me, still waiting for a legitimate explanation of why Hassenhuttl is still routinely accepted as an "exciting and good manager".
DeadLinesman Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 16-0 aggregate last 5 games at Anfield for Saints. Jesus Christ.
Administrator Stan Posted November 27, 2021 Author Administrator Posted November 27, 2021 Southampton to turn it around against us on Wednesday. The reaction and a 9-0 win...
Dave Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Aston Villa have deserved this. They've won the battle in midfield and our decision making in the final third has been poor. On a side note, this is Michael Sailsbury's first game as a referee in the Premier League and hopefully it will be his last. The standard of refereeing is so poor throughout the football pyramid.
Waylander Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 I thought this might be a draw yet Villa looked decent. Surprised to see Ashley Young out there, could be a good acquisition as certainly has experience. Gerard, back to back wins....
Reluctant Striker Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Man City at Villa Park on Wednesday..

Fairy In Boots Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Also results show how poor we’d become under Smith, just too passive for top end of the PL
LFCMike Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 We've not conceded a single goal in the league games we've won this season. We'll ignore the Chelsea and Man City games as it happens against great sides but the other three where we've lost a bit of control and let the opposition back in has cost us points in those games. Keep Fabinho and Thiago fit and that's less likely to happen.
