I feel like the United key players, like De Gea and Maguire and Bruno, are players who would have been considered class in like the 1960s because they have like the one or two key specialist attributes for their respective positions,  but they look completely out of place in a game like this, in this day and age.

Maguire and Bruno, I think there's good players in them still. I've felt Maguire's overrated for a while - playing well for a very defensive England side that's set up to cover up his flaws has skewed perception of him to make people think he's better than he is. But in his best club season, he wasn't even the best CB at Leicester (Evans was - ironically) - I think how he's performed for United is probably a more accurate representation of his quality as a player.

It's hard to fault De Gea and Bruno for looking worse than they probably are when they're surrounded by players who: 1.) aren't good enough, 2.) don't look like they give a single fuck about how they perform.

This is great though, if United can stay like this for a while I'll be a very happy man.

His buddy was doing better than this to be fair………

Is this actually true?

I mean, it's hard for me to say based on the matches against us. But we bossed you away at Old Trafford and won 5-0... but now we're not even out of second gear and look miles ahead of you.

I can't tell if Rangnick's better or worse, most of the time I've seen United they basically look like they've either got no idea what the fuck they're doing or they don't really care about the season anymore so they're just there on the pitch. But I'm also not convinced that wasn't the case under Solksjaer - you looked pretty shit under him as well?

All his appointment has really proven to me is... the calls of United suddenly being good if they had just another manager instead of OGS were way off. I think the problem on the pitch with United is a lot of players who aren't as good as they think they are who don't want to put in the effort to be as good as they think they are.

I imagine you'd just be hoping for a massive clearout of players that aren't good enough and don't give a shit and hope you get a lot of players with the right sort of mentality to fight for results on the pitch.

Mane is back to being outstanding. There were plenty who had written him off, I had some doubts but had hope he'd get back to what he was. He's been brilliant through the middle recently.

@LFCMike doesn't do if's, buts or maybes, he does absolutes.

Got to be fair, the young man’s come on and had his pocket picked, immediately leading to a Liverpool counter and goal.

He seems very well set to slot right in to the United first team.

Was given a shite ball by Maguire though...
