Guaranteed we don't get the Chelsea that have been sleepwalking the last few games.

Lots of people been saying they will be too focussed on the Cup Final to worry about this but I think the opposite. There's been too many wake up calls now to let another game slide by with a poor performance. Cup final places will be on the line bar your absolute certainties.

With Arsenal and Spurs on their tail too, they can't be too complacent with Top 4, they still need another 3pts I'd say.

Just think enough is going against us right now losing players again, that I cannot envisage us even shithousing a win. Now Ayling's fucked for the season and still no sign of Cooper or Bamford.

I think we've lost that attacking spark we had under Marsch, perhaps its less manic but it always felt like we had something in our locker.

The fans have stayed with the the players but it feels like they need a fresh boost of belief from somewhere. We're due a bit of luck to be fair but it's more in hope than optimism.

@Lucas Chelsea have a 5 point cushion on spurs going into the last three games, they aren’t going to lose two games and Spurs won’t win all their remaining either. Can definitely see Tuchel prioritising Saturday and putting a weaker side out on Wednesday night. Here’s hoping anyways, want you lot to stay up and Burnley to fuck off.

Chelsea surely won't put their feet up here. If anything, the FA Cup final only makes it more likely they'll aim to go out here and put a few past Leeds, because currently their strongest side has absolutely no momentum about them and this is their last chance to generate some before facing Liverpool. At most, they might bring off some of their fresh legs during the second half if the game is wrapped up. It's not going to be an easy fixture for them, though. The needle is starting to point the wrong way for Leeds but they're only the latest team to be "definitely going down" after Newcastle, Burnley and then Everton. You can't underestimate any team that are fighting for their lives like that.

I noticed that Lukaku scored a couple at the weekend. Hopefully the big man is back in form, features here and does us a favour. And again, I'm sorry to Lucas, because I'll genuinely be annoyed if Leeds go down after just two years having waited so long to see them come back up. They belong in the top flight and it's a shame that the Bielsa project got skewered so badly this season. I'd have liked to see them have a few years up here and see what they could build. Still hoping that it's Burnley that drop instead of them but obviously my priority now is to see my own team over the line as soon as possible.

Never usually a fan of this phrase.

I know what you're saying. What I mean is that a club like Leeds has the potential to contribute more value to the league for the neutral than many others. I don't intend to disrespect what has been achieved by other clubs in their time in the Premier League (I won't name names because it comes across as having an agenda or criticising specific clubs if I single them out) and if they get enough points, they obviously deserve to stay. Different styles of football are good, but ultimately it's a shame to see a club like Leeds drop when they pack out their stadium in the mid 30,000s every week. All I mean is that there's a handful of clubs in the country who have that "proper" football culture about them and their city and Leeds are one of them. With them specifically, it also feels like their fanbase have paid their dues for the time being. But I get your beef with my wording.

Kind words @RandoEFC and you have to look after your own, I'd be no different and have equally been wanting Everton to lose the last few weeks to save our bacon.

I'd be gutted to drop having had so many things conspire against us this season, I really dont think the fans deserve it at all. Equally, I also acknowledge we've every right to be criticised for our performances and the appalling goals against record.

Mad thing is, I still genuinely believe that when we have the compliment of all our players, our first XI finishes in that 10th to 15th category so if we stay up, I think we'd be able to go again in the summer fine with a bit more strength in depth added.

I just want this all over now. It's just been a horrible clusterfuck of a season from covid issues to injuries, to Bielsa leaving and there's 3 more games to endure. It's not enjoyable for anyone other than neutrals in this situation and the slog is nearly over.

What will be will be now and if we go down, the questions will be aimed at the right people to answer, the owner and the board.

Personally, I'd like to see Arsenal and Spurs jump over Chelsea for only one reason. I really despise Twerkel.

Chelsea will be without quite a few players next seasons due to poor contract negotiations. They're going to have to spend big to bring in what they are going to loose.

Not sure it was poor contract negotiations more the government due to Ukraine putting restrictions on this.

Two of our likely departures at wide back have been good servants yet probably are moving just as their careers are on their downward trajectory.

Christensen never played consistently well for us, the big loss will be Rudiger who has been our best defensive player and will be likely difficult to replace.

Chelsea will have a busy summer no doubt.

Strong team. Would've played Saul at LWB (rest Alonso for Sat) but that's a good team regardless.

Lukaku back in favour now? Or Werner to start on Saturday?

Sadly given our complete collapse in recent league games we need to win just to keep our noses in front of Arsenal and Leeds need the win to dig themselves out of the shit... could be a right old slog tonight

I think if Chelsea don't win then it's Liverpool's fault.
