Christ they're horrendous fixtures I think when you've already used Spurs & Arsenal. I think all of Man City, Liverpool & Chelsea have real banana skin games. Don't trust us in the slightest. Reckon there's a few draws in that.

Actually fuck it Chelsea.

Don't think I've ever made a worse move on this than changing Palace to Chelsea.

Don't be so harsh on yourself mate.

You weren't to know we'd turn into the world's greatest football team overnight.

Results - Gameweek Three

Casualties (6)

A very tricky set of fixtures put paid to another half a dozen contenders this week as the remaining field took a variety of approaches. Leicester were the first let-downs of the weekend, as they were undone by a Che Adams brace which condemned them to defeat at home to Southampton, and wiped @DeadLinesman and @Whiskey out of this round of the competition. Another pair, @Dan and @The Liquidator were eliminated in the first Super Sunday fixture, where Chelsea failed emphatically to secure three points at Elland Road. Meanwhile, @Stan was simultaneously taking his medicine as West Ham fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Brighton. The final casualty came on Monday, where Liverpool's visit to Old Trafford ended in defeat and denied @Viva la FCB a spot in Gameweek Four.

Unlucky everyone, you score a total of 3 points in this round, 2 correct picks plus a bonus point for coming joint third.

Survivors (2)

@nudge backed the first fixture of the weekend with total success as Spurs delivered one of the only safe routes into Gameweek Four with their 1-0 win over Wolves. She is joined in the next gameweek by @Beelzebub, the only man to back Crystal Palace in their comeback victory over Aston Villa.

Congratulations on making it into the final two! Please read ahead for the next set of fixtures.

@nudge and @Beelzebub both progress. I don't know if I'll have time to do a proper update before the next set of games, which takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this midweek.

@nudge has already used Newcastle, Man City, Newcastle, Liverpool.

3) The time of first goal in the randomly selected match, Leicester vs Man United.

It's a quick turnaround this week but our last two competitors are just about still going! @nudge matches her week's pick Arsenal with five consecutive wins, Martinelli's 77th minute securing their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa. Later that evening, @Beelzebub cut it even closer as Liverpool waited until the 8th minute of injury time to find a winning goal against Newcastle. Still, a win's a win, and our duel here continues.

Results - Gameweek Six

Both of our final two go marching on into a seventh gameweek after successful picks again this weekend. @Beelzebub benefitted from Chelsea's controversial comeback win over West Ham on Saturday, but they all count. @nudge correctly backed Brighton ahead of their emphatic win over beleaguered Leicester on Sunday. Congratulations both!
