Haaland another that wanted to leave, Mane, Lewendowaki. Ronaldo made his intentions clear 2 months in advance. If it was that easy they would have done it. You know there are plenty that goes on behind the scenes. Whose to say they didn't set up a deal for him to go and he declined because he didn't want it? Equally, they could have let him go and had no back up, that wouldn't have been smart at all. Phillips is a totally bad example because he is born and bred Leeds, been with us for years and given absolute blood, sweat and tears for us. Denying him the chance to go to the best club in the country, maybe even the world, would have been a bad play from us, he earnt that move and equally, he behaved in an impeccible manner that made us take a hit to let him get his dream. Raphinha equally deserved his move for giving us his all for two seasons and didnt chuck the toys out the pram once when we were in our relegation battle. Both were well thought of and left the club on good terms. Ronaldo is the polar opposite. He's been to the top, he's done all that, but he came back to Man U because he sees it as his club. Well, its great to see he thinks so highly of his club by disrespecting it at every turn because he's a whiny bitch when he doesn't get what he wants. What he should be doing is accepting he isn't first choice, supporting his team mates and doing his best to get himself back in the team whilst behaving like someone that doesn't believe the world revolves around him. With the greatest respect, I think you are pissing in the wind with your view here given 85-90% of the country will be criticising Ronaldo this morning for his actions but each to their own.

Lucas Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Leicester, bottom of the league. Maddison, Ndidi, Evans, Soyuncu, Perreira out. Vardy out of the team, out of form. Rodgers facing the sack. Cue Leeds United. Leicester 1-0 Leeds (Barnes '88)

More likely to be a mistake-filled match, most of it from us. Maddison is pretty much our one and only creator. Defensive lapses in concentration allowing the likes of Rodrigo/Sinisterra/Bamford to get clear opportunities. Just up to you to finish them.

I watched the Arsenal game and you made it difficult for them, carving out some chances. But not seen much else. It's all set up for Bamford to have a worldie of a game and get his first goals of the season. That's how we roll

Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 20, 2022 Subscriber Posted October 20, 2022 I can't see it being like the Palace game cause I think Leeds will actually try and attack us a bit more. I've been told our team is the same as Saturday but with Vardy and Praet in for Daka and Maddison. No expectations. Just got to hope Leeds implode harder than us. I still can't take us remotely seriously under this manager who so blatantly wants the sack.
Machado Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Someone should tell Ronaldo professionalism is more than going to bed early and eating greens.

They certainly deserved something on the weekend

Not far off having one of the best hatricks you'll see. Darwin Núñez clocked a top speed of 38km/h tonight - beating Kyle Walker's record of 37.802 km/h in June 2020. Lots of athleticism and heart from him but still a lot to improve in the rest of his game.

That's how we roll Chelsea was the best performance but Arsenal was a close second and we got nothing out of it. There's been games where we have had good halves or spells like Palace away the other week. If we go in 2-0 up at HT, we are looking good but to dominate 1-0 up and let in a goal against the run of play, game then changes 2nd half. Had similar cases against Villa, Everton, Brentford... We have got to start taking advantage when on top. The lack of goals has been an issue.

Feel like if Bamford can get the monkey off his back, he might kick on.

Definitely, he's still raw but I think when he's settled he's going to be brilliant and will prove a lot of people wrong

On another day he'd have had more than just one goal. If he keeps working hard and gets settled into this team, he'll fit in pretty nicely I think. It also helps that when we play well... we play a lot better than when we don't play well. And I think we played pretty well yesterday. Not our best but really far from our worst I'd say.

Administrator Stan Posted October 20, 2022 Author Administrator Posted October 20, 2022 4 centre-mids from us A narrow 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 with Praet in a position he's not that experienced in...
Reluctant Striker Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Odd line up for Villa. Cash on the bench. Anyone's guess what formation they're actually going with & who is left back / wing back. BBC website currently going with this: Martinez Young Konsa Mings Bednarek Ramsey Luiz McGinn Bailey Watkins Ings If it's a wing back formation, it's presumably between Bailey, McGinn & Ramsey who is on the opposite side to 37 year old Young.
Reluctant Striker Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Lining up 4-4-2 Konsa out at right back. Bednarek & Mings in the middle. Ashley Young left back. A good performance & not losing feels important. Fulham starting strongly in the first few minutes.
Administrator Stan Posted October 20, 2022 Author Administrator Posted October 20, 2022 Fulham unlucky not to be ahead. Andreas with a shot that just went wide, then Mitrovic header cleared off the line.
Reluctant Striker Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Fulham confidently pinging the ball around, under no pressure. Every time Villa get the ball it seems like Fulham have 3 extra players buzzing around to get the ball back.
Administrator Stan Posted October 20, 2022 Author Administrator Posted October 20, 2022 Fulham score! Deserved lead. Nice strike from Reed.
