MUFC Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Best chance Arsenal have to get back in the title race. Obviously City need to drop points. This will most likely happen if Haalaand is back in the City side. Against without him vs Brighton they had more fluency and looked way less predictable. Quote
Rick Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Honestly, not a clue how this will go. West Ham are capable of smashing us or shitting their pants. Quote
Reluctant Striker Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Another 3 points for Villa & anything but 6 points for Spurs from Arsenal & Chelsea this week, could be the race for 4th sorted. Would be great to play Cheltenham today, but have a feeling Chelsea will actually turn up at Villa Park. Quote
Danny Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I know it was offside but Diaz should have buried that first time round instead of squaring Quote

They're both legends, but in this second half of the season they've both been dickheads too. Not really fussed about any of it. Klopp's out in a bit and who knows if Salah's going to keep being a Liverpool player after that. I just hope our dogshit form doesn't have us slip out of top 4 because of the shocking complacency that's crept into this squad. 1 Quote
6666 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 If Aston Villa win later today, they'll only be 6 points behind. They face Liverpool soon as well. Not impossible that Aston Villa finish above Liverpool. Quote

Not impossible that Aston Villa finish above Liverpool. I honestly don't know where we're going to pick up any more wins for the rest of the season. If Spurs win the rest of their games, they could end up ahead of us too. Our collapse has been shocking and embarrassing tbh. Not too long ago the future looked bright when we had some of our big players out and we were punching above our weight - now I think there's a lot of question marks about our big players and how big of a job Slot's first season really will be. He should just say "we shouldn't be thinking about that, we should be thinking about getting 3 points from the next match." He, like many of the players, really just seems to have run out of fucks to give about this season. Wanted a glorious end to an era, when it was always unrealistic, and once that started looking unlikely they just gave up on everything. Quote
OrangeKhrush Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Played rubbish for 60 minutes, could have been 4-0 down by half time, squeak into half time level then the flood gates open. Isak has another chance to be our first hat trick since Ayoze Perez v Southampton in 2019 Quote
Redcanuck Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Late penalty again. It's a obvious foul , but Onana taking out the Burnley player has no effect on whether a goal is scored. Wan Bissaka wins the header and the ball is cleared before Onana makes contact with the Burnley player. What about an indirect free kick in the box instead of a penalty? Quote
6666 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Sheffield United have already broken the record for most goals conceded in a 38 game Premier League season. Was 89 before this season. Sheffield United already have 97. Only 4 off breaking the 42 game record as well. -63 goal difference, 7 goals off breaking that record. Think they'll just about avoid breaking that one. Quote
OrangeKhrush Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Nice telling moment with Bruno's goal, he opened a flag and pointed to it, he will not be leaving. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted April 27 Author Administrator Posted April 27 Considering both sides need to win, this is very drab from Everton and Brentford. Quote
