On paper, my team looks more than decent, possibly one of the top three/four first XI's out of the twelve teams.

In reality, played three, lost three. I think I'm two games away from the 'Lucas Out' chants starting, three games away from the dreaded 'vote of confidence' and four games till I'm free to book a holiday.

Bring on the gardening leave.

Mane has been properly erratic, I thought he’d be a guaranteed source of points for you

Round 5 (aka Gameweek 15)

This week @SirBalon's low scoring 11th placed IUFG FC host my Winnfield Wanderers side fresh off 7 points in their last 3 games. With 99 points, IUFG are the leagues most meagre of goalscoring sides. Will this be the week messrs Silva, Pedro & Herrera deliver the goods for SirBalon?

3rd meets 4th as @Cannabis and @Dickie face off. After a narrow defeat in the first game, high scoring Check Your PMs have won their last 3 games with Giroud, Sanchez and Shaqiri delivering the proverbial goods.

Will Kippax Warriors in 6th place under the management of @Happy Blue be strong enough to resist FC Saxons? @Teso dos Bichos 2nd placed side have proved irresistible so far, even edging out Dickie's Golden Showers After by a singular point in the previous round.

@Lucas and @JOSHBRFC in 8th and 10th place respectively with their Murderonzidanesfloor and Leave M'Arcelona teams, will be looking at each other thinking they can beat the other for some much needed points.

Basement side Los Borachos managed by @Mel81x travel to Kitchen Sales Team coached by nominative determinism, @Kitchen Sales. Los Borachos will be hoping to avoid a 5th straight league defeat.

The leagues most dominant side, with further nominative determinism abound as @Pep Talk's Pep Talk travel to @Stan's STAN FC. The latter walloping Leave M'Arcelona in round 14. Pep Talk have been imperious all season and with Morata, Ozil and Salah boast some serious goal and assist power.

That Killer Instinct picture alone deserves a rep. And that pic does look like something I'd do, ship going down? no problem, pop a beer and enjoy the view.

Match Day Report

IUFG FC 18 - 52 Winnfield Wanderers

1/5000 odds were if anything too kind to @SirBalon's as Winnfield Wanderers goals from Nicolas Otamendi and Charlie Austin see them leap to 4th place. IUFG look in considerable trouble and may want to start searching for strikers. Winnfield Wanderers benefited from Jordan Pickford coming in for Petr Cech but will be pondering the Sane conundrum as once again he offers little.

Check Your PM's 44 - 33 Golden Showers After

The bookies called it as @Cannabis side were too strong for @Dickie. The latter dropping down to 6th with the former cementing their place in 3rd.

Kippas Warriors 23 - 36 FC Saxons

In what could be considered a low scoring round for @Teso dos Bichos side, they still had more than enough to see off @Happy Blue team with Eden Hazard the real star of the show.

Leave M'Arcelona 27 - 27 MurderonZidanesfloor

Bookies favourite @Lucas squandered their lead in this low scoring draw as @JOSHBRFC clawed back the deficit to claim a point. The two sides find themselves 8th and 9th respectively.

Kitchen Sales Team 45 - 41 Los Borachos

Game of the round, as the odds reflected, these two teams were too close to separate but points from Ederson, van Dijk and Daniels and what can only be described as limp, from Sergio Aguero saw @Kitchen Sales take the points. @Mel81x can consider themselves quite unlucky and wonder what could have been if Sergio Aguero had shown up today.

STAN FC 28 - 37 Pep Talk

League leaders @Pep Talk did what was needed to stay top as @Stan FC will feel this was an opportunity missed. Gabbiadini looks a shadow of the player he was and De Bruyne's assist not enough to turn things around.

Daily Dispatches

Pep Talk retain's first on points difference, Check Your PM's take 2nd spot in 2nd vs 3rd and Los Borachos claims their first win of the season

Winnfield Wanderers 42-42 STAN FC

Image result for Otamendi goal

In what ended inexplicably a draw, Winnfield Wanderers turned to the unlikely duo of Nathan Redmond and Nicolas Otamendi to tie up the points difference. @Stan will look back on this as 2 points dropped rather than 1 gained.

Pep Talk 31-34 Kitchen Sales

Image result for Rashford goal

@Pep Talk retained 1st place despite their first defeat of the season. No sooner had @Kitchen Sales been holding out hope for a Marcus Rashford goal. the young forward duly provided. Kitchen Sales take 4th place, a mere 4 points off the top.

Los Borachos 43-18 Leave M'Arcelona

Image result for Son goal stoke

@Mel81x Los Borachos side finally earned their first 3 points of the season, despite losing their opening 5 games they are anything but the worst side in the league. @JOSHBRFC will be looking over his shoulder and concerned as defeat in his next match could see him hit the league basement.

Murderonzidanesfloor 28-48 Kippax Warriors

Image result for Defoe Crystal palace Goal

@Happy Blue's side demolished @Lucas' team and emerged the highest scorers of this round. Jermain Defoe chipping in with a very useful 13 points.

FC Saxons 15-27 Check Your PM's

Image result for Giroud goal

@Teso dos Bichos can thank Chelsea's abysmal performance on Saturday for their defeat in this relatively low scoring encounter between 2nd and 3rd. @Cannabis CYPM's have now won their last 5 in a row and draw level on points with Pep Talk.

Golden Showers After 38-18 IUFG FC

Oh dear. @SirBalon IUFG, despite David Silva's heroics took another battering. @Dickie's team needed this as they recover from a slump in form to stay in touching distance of the leading pack.
