Man City can probably make the final with their B team now. It will make the final a joke if the first team only turn out for that one.

Which they will of course... They should make it a rule that players that have played 'x' amount of games in the other Cup games leading up to a Final must be in the line ups for the Final on the day...

No one else's weakened team can get as far as the final. Should just kick out all teams in Europe and let the rest of us compete, keeping a Europa League place as the prize.

It would give more fans of the rest of the country a chance to have the positive experiences and memories of a cup run. Part compensation for the fact that the league experiences are over and dead now.

A reconstruction of @Dan and @Stan reactions to the draw.

Oh Leicester, what have you done...

I'm genuinely fuming. Best chance we've had at a final in 18 years.

Can't call it luck when City have taken the piss out of every club in England.

They did face us at a convenient time for them though after us having to play at Atletico 2 days before

Why is that conveneient? Atlético are no great shakes. Man City absolutely took the piss out Chelsea.

Yet the mighty Barcelona or Real Madrid couldn't beat the no great shakes.  Right.

Atlético are a shadow of what they once were. Even then, you played a game after playing one on Wednesday? It’s not conveneient at all, they’re just immeasurably superior to you.

An oil club that at least plays good footy, which Chelsea have never been able to do.

Yet still prove they always show up in a big game, despite of their form.

City played Shaktar, at home. On a Tuesday.

We played Atletico. In Madrid. On a Wednesday.

Our game was Saturday. If you are making any suggesting there being no difference in fatigue levels you've lost the plot. (We've lost Morata early on for pulling a hammy ffs)

No one is saying they are undeserving of their league position as they are taking the piss out of everyone and breaking all sorts of records. My point is that it was convenient of them to face us right after we've given everything to beat Atletico at their ground, to which they are still undefeated there. We would have given a far better showing than we did have we hadn't.
