Fekir as I've said ad nauseum isn't a wide player.

If he can play in a #10 role I could see Klopp using him sort of how we used Coutinho/sometimes use the Ox. So maybe that's where we're looking to bring him in. But if Chelsea are interested too... shiiiiiiiiit. We usually lose out when competing with you for players.

I do think we desperately need depth out wide though. Can't really rely on the 2 players with pace we have to stay fit forever.

I think it could with Fekir and Firmino playing fluidly - switching from attacking mid to centre forward. That'd be brilliant actually, as both have the capability to play in those positions well. Liverpool would definitely need a player like Xabi Alonso in the midfield however.

Must explain the amount of times he drifts inside

A wide player doesn't have to be a chalk on boots winger from the 1950s. Is Robben not a wide foward, now?

Not really given that wide players technically stay wide and aren't allowed the freedom to roam where they want. Like Hazard

Alonso is a wide player. Moses is a wide player. We play in a time of inverted wingers, to which nearly all of them drift inside.

According to whose definition that wide players can't roam? Besides, Fekir isn't the type of player to drift inside; he plays exclusively through the middle. And the one time this season he has started wide he played on the right. Football has never been so static that wide players stay wide at all times.

But there have been some big changes which mean they will be able to bring in players earlier than ever before.

Premier League clubs voted to end the summer 2018 window on the Thursday before the start of the season - on August 9 rather than August 31 as before.

The thinking behind the decision is to avoid the disruption of players moving clubs after the season has started.

Fifa rules dictate the window must be open for 12 weeks which will mean the date clubs can start to sign players has also be brought forward.

The changes mean the window will be due to open on May 17, just a few days after the final games of the league season on May 13.

Clubs will be able to sell players until August 31 but they won't be able to bring in replacements after the deadline of August 9.

At the moment, the Premier League is the only league to have brought in the new ruling but the Football League could decide to follow their example.

Really?

That's ridiculous if true, especially as some teams won't even know which division they're in.

A lot of European leagues are still going as well aren't they? I'm a supporter of shutting the window before the first game but I do feel it's not going to work without the other European leagues doing it too.

Manchester United hold Willian transfer talks

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have held informal talks with Chelsea winger Willian’s representatives ahead of the summer transfer window.

Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen on a reunion with the Brazilian, who he worked with at Chelsea.

Lol if United really give us Martial for Willian, I will piss myself laughing. xD

I don't do this very often, but I've got a mate who does some supply work in the catering business, and he had a big delivery of Bratwurst to Melwood the other day. While he was unloading he got chatting to the lad who fans down Micheal Edward's big computer when it gets too hot, and found this out.

- Liverpool's interest in Fekir is really strong. It's a tough signing as it would mean the lad would be leaving his boyhood club. Good chance it will happen, but it might not.

- Liverpool are also in the market for a Central Defender and are looking at Pavard, De Ligt, Giminez, Akanji, Lachelles and Ake. Good chance it could be one of those.

- Klopp is really keen on Pulisic. Lemar, Brandt and Bailey are also being pushed by the committee. Zaha might also be signing, although there are doubts about his mentality.

- Liverpool will also try and sign Oblak, Allison or Jack fucking Butland. Klopp is impressed at how Karius has pushed on, so don't be surprised if the keeper is actually and older player with experience. Liverpool have been in touch with Reina, Casillas, Buffon and Friedel.

- You're a very private person, aren't you? You keep people at a distance, but when you let people get close to you, you let them in completely.

- With Jupiter rising in Sagittarius, luck will find you this week. Be open to new love, friendship or professional opportunities, but make sure you play a little hard to get. Everyone loves the chase.

- I'm getting....Jack. Or John. Someone who passed in the last few years. Is that you, love? He's here now. And this is your father, isn't it love? But he felt like a father didn't he? You were close. That what he means. There was some pain in his chest. No? He's definitely talking about his chest. Well if his brother died of a heart attack, that will be it. Now, there was a special holiday wasn't there, somewhere abroad. But it was so warm it felt like you were abroad? Nothing? Well he's definitely talking about a holiday, so you have a think what that might be, love.

Anyway, that's all I got from him. Don't shoot the messenger. I've got another mate who's going to sort out a blocked pipe in the kit room next week, so I might have a few whispers later.

Given up on martial, few good goals here and there but his end product is awful.

Mourinho isn´t exactly known for doing well with young raw players.

I skipped through that video and got to Gray (was not expecting that).

Whoever wrote that needs to actually watch football. 'Gray is a composed finisher' xDxD. Where have they even got that from? He's barely played enough for us to get any good opportunities and he loves a cut-inside-and-shoot routine.
