That sounds actually quite interesting. His style will be refreshing for the Bond series. Hopefully he gets to tell his own story.

That sounds class actually. A nitty, gritty Bond would be fantastic.

Just got to hope Idris Elba stays well away from it.

@Mel81x posted it in another thread but I thought I'd also post it here... Looks fantastic.

I wonder how much work in post goes into making the eyes bluer than they are.

I always assumed that's just contacts?

I totally didnt think about contacts.

I once had a friend who was obsessed with coloured contact lenses. As someone who had been wearing corrective contacts for over two decades I could never understand why someone who doesn't need them would want to wear them on their own volition haha.

I don't get it either and to then make it a part of your daily routine is even more weirder.

Whos the woman he sees who stops him mid sentence when he says "I'm not going to lose... Control" ?

The woman off the last film. Forgot her name.

This looks really good.

The actress is called Lea Seydoux. She was already in the last film.

Rami Malek doesn’t really strike me as a particularly scary Bond villain

Looks like he's meant to be a henchman for Blofeld though.

It feels like it has been delayed forever. Looking forward to it, hopefully can watch it in a cinema.

Just booked two tickets for Saturday. Literally cannot wait. I'll be gutted if this flops.

I actually can't remember the last time I was this excited to the extent to book tickets early to watch a film than just rock up and see it whenever.

Think the The Force Awakens was the last time and we saw a midnight showing where everyone seemed to go dressed up and I missed the memo xD

Saw it last night. Did it live up to the hype? I'd probably give it a 7.8. Definitely better than Spectre, not sure if I'd prefer it over Skyfall or Casino Royale but that's just personal preference.

I won't include any spoilers, it's going to be a hotly anticipated film people will want to go and see I imagine.

Of the things I can say, as usual, great cinematography with the set locations, action sequences are as solid as ever and the new female 00 agent puts in a notably good turn. The storyline is a good continuation of the Spectre arc, with a few surprises chucked in. I think some people might have an issue with the length of the film but it wasn't a big issue for me.

I'm a little bit 50/50 with Rami Malek as the main villain. Won't go into too much detail but just that I wanted...more.

Christopher Waltz's cameo is brilliant, however.

I'm going to end by saying this.

If you are a Bond fan and you've liked the Daniel Craig's one's, don't wait for it to come on TV or a 'stream', go and watch it on the big screen.

If you are intending to go, don't read any reviews, don't listen to anyone else, go watch and see for yourself.

Our son went to watch it with his son and they said although it was long it needed that to get into the swing of the story as it reflected back to the past (what he meant I don't know?) but overall they said it was good but would not tell me much about it as it would spoil the movie if I decided to watch it on my Amazon.

I know that some bits were sad as the wife read up some people were crying when leaving after the movie as it was sad in some parts?

I might watch it on Amazon but really the only James Bond films I have ever watched was when Connery acted as 007 and to me, he will always be the real character and I just picture his face (Connery) whenever 007 is mentioned, I tried watching a couple of Bond films when Roger Moore acted as 007 but I could never get into them films after that, but I will give it a shot and watch it on Amazon...I think?
