Group Stage Best Goal

Recommended Posts

ones that stand out for me are:

Philippe Coutinho vs Switzerland
Ricardo Quaresma vs Iran
Dries Mertens vs Panama
Christian Eriksen vs Australia
Luka Modric vs Argentina
Ante Rebic vs Argentina
Denis Cheryshev vs Saudi Arabia
Nacho vs Portugal
Ronaldo (free-kick) vs Spain
Toni Kroos vs Sweden

My pick would be Ricardo Quaresma.

Lingard should be on that list too

Modric's was my favourite

The Kroos goal was aestetically magnificent and had the so-called "clutch" value. I think my vote goes to that one.

Quaresma, Coutinho, Cheryshev & Kroos are the best for me.

Great minds think alike Nicholas... lingard's goal should definitely be on that list..but that's the disadvantage of playing for Man utd. Haters everywhere

If you thought there was that much hate, Ronaldo's goal wouldn't have made it.

Give your head a wobble xD

1. Toni Kroos vs. Sweden
2. Mertens vs. Panama
3. Nacho vs. Portugal

Even though no one's mentioned the Musa goal, I've heard people describe his first touch as "great". Might've been my initial thought as well but the point of taking a first touch is to bring it under control and make it easier for yourself and that's what he was trying to do. It didn't work and it went 15 feet up in the air. It looked good but the first touch setting him up like that was very lucky.

I'd take Lingards goal over quaresmas. It was just such a nice smooth move.
