It's good to see the stadium from ground level outside, to see how it's starting to take shape. I hope the concrete walls that are on the stands within the stadium are painted or covered red, it would look much nicer imo. Though I think they maybe used for sponsorship, I'd rather them decorated with club colours/crest Quote

tlr Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Not a fan of the mulicoloured seats but I do like the stadium overall, it has individuality for starters, which is more than any most other League stadiums built since the 90s have. Can only really judge it once it's up and running for fans though. Oh, and LMA Manager back in the day was the one. I remember Alvaro Recoba and Pablo Aimar used to be the two highest rated players on one of mine Quote

Everybody was sharing it and going on as if Brentford have done a West Ham. I think the design is clever in the sense that its geared for expansion. To fill in the corners to connect to the main stand for example would take less disruption than it would for most clubs. A bit like the thinking behind The Amex. Quote

Danny Posted July 23, 2020 Author Posted July 23, 2020 So another massive game on Wednesday, another chance to suffer a heart attack, another reason to hate football for 90 minutes because who can fucking watch it when it’s like this? Still we need to start picking results up quickly otherwise the play-offs will end badly...in the semis or the final and I can’t do losing to Fulham in the final. Not at all. Quote

In the same boat for me in bold as well. Losing to Swansea in the final (if both get that far) would be the death of me really. Quote

Redcanuck Posted July 31, 2020 Posted July 31, 2020 (edited) Just saw the odds on the final. Surprised Brentford are around even money and Fulham is close to 3 to 1? I thought the two were pretty even. I guess it's because Brentford beat them home and away and Fulham are carrying a couple of injuries. Edited July 31, 2020 by Redcanuck Quote

I think part of it is that Fulham are no doubt a good side, but Brentford has shown levels of play that are unheard of in the Championship. The think overall they are pretty even, but Brentford have the capability to play at a MUCH higher level. Plus, if Mitrovic is still out, that's a massive loss for Fulham. Quote
