Inverted
De Gea... He's made for getting scrappy league wins when his side is struggling. Never been convinced he's a goalie for the biggest teams and occasions.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted April 16, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted April 16, 2019 Barring Rashford and Martial I can't see any United player on that pitch who want to actually give this a go.
carefreeluke
It’s something about the way Pogba carries himself that really pisses you off. Hate the bloke.

Carnivore Chris
Poor goalkeeping by de Gea for the 2nd, but he made up for it to prevent what should have been 3-0. Great play by Messi towards the end by the way, he(and the team as a whole in fact) is getting better as the game is progressing.

carefreeluke
Think Liverpool would be very comfortable against Barcelona over two legs. Messi might have a say about that but I’d put Liverpool as clear favourites.
Dr. Gonzo
Darren Fletcher said if you're 2-0 down at Camp Nou, you'd expect to have been outplayed and Manchester United haven't been outplayed here. I thoroughly disagree with him - Manchester United had a bright start, but beyond the first 10 minutes they've definitely been outplayed.

Yes the first 10 minutes were encouraging for Utd but they've been dominated since.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted April 16, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted April 16, 2019 On United going to shit, I blame their midfield pairing of Pogba and Fred. You cannot dictate any kind of play when you have a person that is rattled and a person who is clueless and its showing. Their front-men have done well with whatever little service they've gotten but if you're going to spend time chasing shadows you're not going to get anywhere with this team that knows to keep the ball and make you run for your life to get it. Inverted
United showed in the first 10 mins that Barcelona aren't comfortable when they're pressed and have to deal with skilful direct attackers. The thing is United aren't used to playing that way and Liverpool are.
