  1. Pfizer are the same company that makes Viagra so @CaaC (John) will need to watch out for any funny side effects because he is listed as number 2 according to who gets priority...

  2. There's plenty in the works, and quite a few others in Phase 3 already too! I mostly use these two sites for tracking the progress: https://covid19.trackvaccines.org/vaccines/ https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/science/coronavirus-vaccine-tracker.html

  4. I've taken up a semi passion for cooking during 2020. And i'm always looking for new things to learn/attempt to cook @nudge Some of the dishes you've posted look delicious! Did a classic 'Sunday dinner' yesterday, Chicken in a garliccy/lemony butter, honey roasted vegetables etc etc etc ... i spent hours on it, just for me and my daughter. Only for her to turn her nose up at it and say "smelly fooood daddee" and hardly eat any.

  7. At least for an injury prone guy, he’s got one important quality - he typically slots back in like he’s missed no time.

  11. Just imagine the awkwardness of actually being in that audience, but also being a sane human being. Just imagine what you'd be thinking in that situation....

  12. As long as Trump doesn't actually try to start a civil war or incite his most extreme, gun-toting worshippers to start shooting up Democrats then the next two months are going to be pretty fucking funny watching the meltdown.

  14. I found half the battle with exercise is just sticking to the routine, if you do it consistently you’ll feel better for it Ive put a bit of weight on the last year or two, nothing too much mind, still fairly slimish but just grown the old double chin, tits and belly popping out. Difficult living at home sometimes to commit to exercise and eating healthy as you get stuck a bit so hoping when me and the missus move out in the new year things will change there. I’m not a massive fan of running but I can do it if needed, prefer to swim and cycle though which is a bit difficult under lockdown (swimming at least)

  15. I’m blessed to have a good metabolism, but I’m quite thin so the gym could be a goer in the future but at the moment I mainly do cardio. I’m noticing slight belly increase due to beer (and not enough exercise out of football season). Trying to do a couple of 4-5km runs a week, and while that’s not a lot it’s something to keep me ticking over. I also want to get back into a core workout routine I did a while back. I eat a good breakfast and lunch, it’s dinners and snacks that I need to monitor a bit better as I get older!

  16. I could never be that disciplined so absolute credit to you. Especially as my missus is hard work when it comes to exercise and junk food. But I'm in good shape enough to eat sensible meals and work out two or three times a week and enjoy 'treats' at the weekend. That'll do me.

  17. I’m going on Furlough for the second time this year. But I’m really not fussed, it’s for the good of the company and it will mean 0 job losses. I’m not massively impacted by the 20% loss and it means I get to spend more time with my daughter. Seeing the positives and all that

  18. Too late. It was OK, the duck was tender and juicy, the apples inside were caramelised nicely, the oven roasted potatoes were great, but I didn't really like the sauce. Too sweet & sour for my liking, but then I also don't like wine or honey in the first place, so I don't know what I was even thinking when I decided to make it Here's a pic from the last time I made it. Pardon the cutting, I realised I didn't have poultry scissors or even the carving fork, so had to butcher it with a knife.
