  1. The situation with vaccines really throws into focus to the disgraceful state of the world we live in, many poorer countries will be left with insufficient or even no access to the best vaccines simply because of money. You now even have the 'super rich' of Britain jetting off to the UAE to get their jabs, surely now people will realise what this world is and that we need revolutionary change. People are literally being told their life is worth less.

  3. To make a wide and sweeping generalisation, which I don’t like to do, I just think a lot of Americans are trained at school to think: COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM = BAD, CAPITALISM = GOOD, USA HAS THE STRONGEST MILITARY. And then when they grow up they don’t question why they spend so little on improving life for Americans, but spend so much on blowing up people in the Middle East.

  4. How strange is that haha. Must have been decent if we've both given it a high vote. For ages, I kept looking at the Italian American guy thinking, 'I bloody know you' and then half way through realised it was only fucking Aragorn from Lord of the Rings. He's changed

  6. They don't believe that the government should interfere in the market much, they think laissez-faire market = free people. They are so obsessed with resisting government tyranny they are openly bootlicking corporate tyranny. Which is ironic because they elected a business man because he '[isn't a politician]' and will '[run the country like a business]'. They worship the entrepreneur to the point of money being enough for fame. An American would be mortified if their high fructose corn syrup beverage was farmed at a government facility (it's okay that the government subsidises corn farming though), it would be stigmatised for not being a fancy 'designer brand name'.

  7. Green Book Been on my watch list for ages and finally sat down to watch it tonight. Completely worth the wait, loved it. Very touching, poignant, funny and extremely powerful. Both actors were top drawer in this playing almost polar opposite characters. Just makes you realise what they went through to do what they did and I didn't actually realise it was based on a true story till the end. 8.5/10.

  9. Broich was a joke in the Bundesliga and king of the A league. I'd Say Langkamp showed about that much quality. I mean, Polenz was awful in the 2nd division and he was outstanding in the A league so fuck knows, Langkamp might become your next god

  11. Weirdest film I've ever seen. I actually watched it months ago but haven't watched any films since. I always watch series nowadays and feel as though when I watch a film "something" is missing. But I'd give it 7/10.

  12. Mont Tremblant was fun - went dogsledding and finally got to see frozen lakes again, something that is hard to spot nowadays in southern Ontario. Global warming is a thing

  16. I just have no words for it. Thousands of brazilian are losing their Lives because of our irresponsible and criminal president. In Manaus, patients are dying suffocated due to a lack of oxygen in the city hospitals. It's devastating. So far, a grand total of 0 people have been vaccinated in Brazil.
