  7. That's because calories are calories. no matter where you get them from If your daily expenditure is around 2200 for example and you eat 2000 consistently you'll lose a bit of weight over a few weeks. Doesn't matter if its bread, beef or cake. Optimally building muscle and losing fat is trickier. But you're a rank novice. Just keep the protein up and train hard and it'll sort itself out.

  8. I mean, I do try to have a healthier diet than I had in the past. But I'm not becoming one of those people who watch everything they eat. I enjoy food too much for that. I don't want to become one of those bowl and grain eating freaks.

  10. Yeah, a male as females don't have a ring around their neck. Well they do, but very slightly. It's weird, as make birds always look "prettier" than females when it comes to most species. The complete opposite to humans in this regard He has pretty much taken over the front room! I've noticed he makes noises similar to those of car alarms or a delivery van reversing, but no sweat words yet. Difficult to tame though..I've always found birds to be easy to tame, but not this little bastard , although it's happy and very healthy. There are plenty perches around the room and toys to chew fuck out of. Also eats very well with a variety of nuts, seeds, fruit and greens everyday.

  11. Reminds me of a scene in The Crown where they depicted the moon landings in 1969. Prince Philip was stunned, knew how important it was and the significance of it. The magnitude of the achievement but this wasn't reciprocated by his family. And he would urge them to watch it and take it all in. He realised it was a momentous occasion in history and would look back on it as such. What you describe there is pretty much similar! Seeing such clear pictures of another planet is phenomenal and should never be understated or underappreciated. I wish we could see more!

  14. Falling Down - 9/10 Glorious film highlighting society’s low points in the early 90’s and even today. Anyone could become Micheal Douglas in this film if you got tipped over the edge.

  18. You obviously didnt take in the BT feed of the game as Hoddle n those in the studio all pointed out how deep Hojbjerg & Sissoko were in the first half which allowed our pair to look half decent, well decent for them but still both passengers going forward. 2nd half higher tempo of Spurs with a higher press we were not able to boss the game as we did in the 1st half and the passengers were back to normal. Your right on one thing thou.... Sherwood, while a half decent player, he isnt worth taking notice of as a coach or pundit.

  19. The progressive passes and quick transition is something I expect to be drilled by Tuchel. Here is an interesting stat. Under Lampard, it took nearly 16 passes for us to create an attack. Under Tuchel at PSG, it took them nearly 8 passes.

  20. Haha no apology required, especially when it comes to believing in a club you support... given that the two are both on 22 points, don't think there's much difference between them anyway. Welcome back.

  23. 5 came out today. I think it’s taking the form of famous American shows from the 50’s, 60’s 70’s etc and becoming more modern with every show?

  26. There were strong words from Mauk to Killa at halftime and Killa just looked fed up and then Mauk got asked about the battle between the two and if they’re friends anymore (former teammates) and he goes something like “nah. There’s a reason why he didn’t play games at city”. Kilkenny then got interviewed post match and said well first I spent 1.5 years at city and won player of the year and he went on to speak about professionalism and that Mauk should’ve written it in his diary instead. Apparently Mauk has a journal business for sporting players or something.

  27. Root is elite. In hot form right now. Didn't even look close to getting him out today. Glad we got the wicket right at the end of Sibley though. England look strong to get 450+ here.

  28. It's in my blood. My dad's family used to play this for money. Like, really like addicts. Kids were not allowed at the table. My dad inherited that mindset and, luckily only midly, transfered it to me. But yea, if I play this game, I'm out for blood. I see every possible step and turn of events long before you realize. I know what your dice will show before you throw it.

  31. Civil disobedience movement is growing in Myanmar, led by doctors and other medical personnel, who have already declared that they won't work for military government. Noise protests and singing are taking place in Yangon at night, with people gathering under the cover of darkness.
